Framed by New York City, Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point is a premium muni experience

BRONX, N.Y. -- Some 25 years in the making, Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point is a premium municipal course in the heart of the New York City area, located in the Bronx next to Ferry Point Park.

Designed by Jack Nicklaus, this links-style course is a championship layout with plenty of difficult bunkers, undulating greens and high fescue to catch wayward shots. Though the course was built by billionaire and presidential candidate Donald Trump, it's owned by the city of New York.

Plans call for a $10-million clubhouse to completed in the next year or so. In the meantime, though, a temporary clubhouse more than does the job, with a bar and grill, extensive golf shops, pavilion for outings and comfortable mean's and women's restrooms.

Green fees for this walking-friendly course range from just under $150 for New York residents to around $200 for nonresidents. Carts are extra.
