Great location along Litubu Bay.
At this time of year course is a bit dry, greens however were excellent. A great course to play.
Too expensive
I play this course a lot when we are down here for the winter. For some reason, the management decided that they could raise prices by 50% this year. Last year, I paid an average of $100/round - this year the rack rate is $285 and a 10-round package is $180/round. I really like the course although the greens are very slow which makes chipping and putting difficult. There is almost on one playing at these prices and I will only go back when I see a good Golf Now rate.
Snack shops
Great tacos and snacks at the 4th and 14 th
A great bonus while golfing
Great course!
Wonderful course. Very scenic and playable. Great staff and facilities. Highly recommend!
Average Mexico course
Small Pro Shop with very few items.
We were rushed to play before our tee time as 80 players were about to start
Caddy golfed several holes with us and His political views should have been left out of our conversations
Course rather dry, no rakes for bunkers and found myself in others footprints
Taco stands were nice and staff fairly friendly
As always amazing
This course is one of my favorite courses in the bay. Great staff amazing course really nice ocean side holes. Recommend this course to any golfer in the area
Love it and beautiful course. Only thing I didn’t like is the price was much more expensive than the quoted price from golf now.
Scenery was spectacular and staff very friendly, greens were in great shape. Sand traps had to many rocks in them.
Mediocre service
A very beautiful course through the jungle with some holes near the sea. However, the service was mediocre. We arrived early to practice on the range. They wouldn't let us hit balls, claiming the range was reserved for a tournament. We waited an hour and didn't see any other players using the range. During our round, the food and drink service on the 13th hole was closed, even though we had paid for it in the green fees. My friends had a flat tire on their golf cart. There was no way to call the pro shop because they simply didn't answer. They therefore abandoned their round on the 14th hole, without any compensation, because when they arrived at the pro shop, no employees were available as they were all playing soccer outside. It's a course I used to enjoy visiting a few times a year, but unfortunately, I won't be going back.
Fantastic views
In December and January, I played about 10 times because the course was well maintained and had a fantastic views, especially whole number three and whole number four with back views of Pacific Ocean. And at the end of 18th hole, you could walk around the beach, which was. Breathtaking.
Great Course and caddy
Caddy “Nano” was awesome. Course in good shape, played alone and finished in under 3 hours with the help of Nano who got me through 3 different groups. Great layout and certainly worth the drive up from Flamingos. Will be back
Hats off to Nichole in the Proshop who was very nice.
All inclusive by the way drinks and food at the halfway house on both sodes
Play This Course!
Every year since 2020, my wife and I have made our way to the beautiful shores of Puerto or Nuevo Vallarta. But this year was extra special—it was our first time playing at the stunning Higuera golf course! We kicked off the New Year on a sun-drenched January 1st, 2026, and wow, what an unforgettable experience it was!
From the moment we arrived, the excellent staff welcomed us with open arms, and the course conditions were simply top-notch. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the new year than with this incredible round of golf!
Despite some negative reviews we had read, we were reminded of something important: “American arrogance” and a lack of gratitude cloud judgments. Yes, the greens were a tad slow, but we were in awe of their immaculate emerald beauty! Instead of complaining, we embraced the challenge—after all, it was all about adapting and giving our putts a little more oomph! This was a day of joy, appreciation, and celebration, and we can’t wait to come back!
Best greens in PV
We love this course. Always a must play on each visit. Martin the pro is fantastic.
Serigio (cart guy) managed to get us out earlier than our tee time.
They’ve really cut back a lot of the fairway bushes, when really speeds up play for wayward shots. The two snack huts are a nice benefit and touch for golfers.
Beautyful course, verry nice layout, spécial tanks to Martin Côté !
All good
Everything from staff, golf course and layout is great. They even included food and drinks on hole 6 and 1. Course condition and greens are Great
Enjoyable day a few improvements needed
Overall we had a great day and enjoyed the course. They either need GPS in the carts or need to mark sprinkler heads or put distance markers in the fairways. They have markers but the are on the cart paths and not always visuble
Great course
A very good test for any handicap, with 4 tees from the low 5000 yards to over 7000. Good relief, plenty of elevation changes, and signature holes on the ocean, island greens, and well bunkered holes with sand that plays predictably.
