Conditions Have Improved
I was rather harsh on my last review about this facility. The overall condition of the course has improved. Greens are still in need of some care. Lot of sand on a number of them. Issue with the sand is they did a poor job of rolling the top and they have clumps along the way.
The bunkers are a mystery. Either players have no idea how to rank the bunkers or they only rake once a week. Sand is very inconsistent around the course. Sand on 18 they have enough to re nourish the beach at Paradise Village. Crazy.
The course is a great layout and very fun to play.
The course staff is great. Bag drop to player assistance was excellent.
El Tigre
Nice facility. The range is awesome and the course layout is challenging. It was very humid and the rough was very thick due to recent rain. This made play more difficult as the course Was hungry and swallowed balls even a couple of paces off the fairway. Outside of the rough being US open length it’s a great track. Greens ran true and decent speed.
Challenging
All good, course in excellent condition, great 😊 d carts, friendly staff.
Beautiful Golf Course
Beautiful Golf Course. Open Fairways Friendly Environment. Greens were fast and under great conditions. Loved my whole experience!
Price does not match value
Knowing that this is one of the most expensive courses in the area, I expected it to be one of the best courses in the area. I was disappointed. The staff was friendly and treated me well. But the course was in terrible condition. The grass on every surface needs attention and it looks like the course has received no water for months. The greens were spotty and inconsistent with many patches where the grass was brown, nearly Brown.
Despite my complaints, the course is definitely well laid out and could be a great challenge. I enjoyed the look of the course and I found that the layout suits my game. Even though this was the first time I played and my handicap is still 13, I was able to make my round with a decent score. If the course were in better condition and if the price better matched the other courses fence in the area, I would play again.
An awesome day on a great course
Had a blast out at El Tigre. Caught it on a really windy day which made it challenging and fun. The greens were smooth and fast and the course was in really good shape. Great track.
El Tigre
Course is in poor shape. Very thin fairways, tee boxes are pathetic. The layout is great. Greens have no grass…..sand…..and are lightening fast, I mean unfairly fast. Hard to read greens that are splotchy with sand and very little grass. Glad I got a hot deal and didn’t spend $250, twice (wife plays).
