Hotel Casa Velas and Velas Vallarta

First time I’ve ever experienced where they charged me in pesos, but when I converted the money on a no fx fee card it was $40 more for the two of us then quoted via golf now

I checked when we played a second round already paid for (hot deal) Norma said that was the rate…not Impressed

Interesting course with elevation changes, good condition fairways and great greens that run very true.

It’s a lovely course. Very picturesque while playing. Decent difficulty level. I highly recommend playing at twilight to catch the sunset in Jan-Feb on the 18th. Spectacular backdrop.

Played this course for the first time since 2013 and it didn't disappoint. Just as pretty and challenging as it was then, and in great shape.

Check in was seamless, all staff were friendly and accommodating. We brought our own clubs, but the rentals looked great.

Superb deal at 230 and later, although darkness becomes a factor especially if the pace is slow.

One disappointment is that only the forward tees are rated for women. Some of us women don't play forward!

First time playing Weiskopf and it didn't disappoint.

All in all a superb experience, even with a taxi from Nuevo Vallarta / Nuevo Nayarit.

Challenging course, friendly staff and crocodiles !

By the second hole it was backed up with 3 groups. It never got better. Close to 5 hours for 18 holes. Painful and sapped any joy of playing. Course conditions were similar to a municipal course, slightly worse.

Good layout and greens are fine. Fairways are a bit dried out but you get a lot of roll! Cart paths are interlock and a bit bumpy.

Overall a fun course to play, I’d you can get over the bumpy paths and dry looking fairways it’s a good golf course.
