Vista Vallarta Golf Club - The Weiskopf Course

I’d love the course layout. I tried to pay part of my fee with $100 bill. They wouldn’t take $100 bill that cost all kinds of problems cause I needed money to get the cap back.

I didn’t have any money for water which they charge for four tips. Kind of made me madme off.

I’m paying $150 to play golf if you can’t give me a water?

I enjoyed my round very much. The caddy and everyone else were really nice. It was a really great pace of play. Definitely coming back.

Course was in ok condition. The main gripe is food was not available to order on course after 1200 and we were not advised of this. Summoned the drink cart and it took 45 minutes to arrive. Driver excuse was “I’m working both courses”. We were the ONLY people on the entire course at the time. After play I complained to management and all they could do was shrug. I will NEVER play here again- nor should you.

Played here on my last trip. Very disappointed on this one. Got a Hot Deal at $179. Regular fee was north of $250. Paying $100 would have been too much.

Course condition were poor, except for the Greens which were Good.

If you are paying over $200 US you expect sand in the sand traps, not gravel, lush fairways and tee boxes and great greens. This course has a long way to go to meet these standards. The fairways were short, there was small rocks in the bunkers and they were more like gravel than sand. Course is nicely laid out with challenges. No cooler on the cart and no complimentary water.

The course was in good condition and offered a good variety of holes. Like all the courses in PUERTA VALLARTA they are very high priced so are typically not good value. I was able to pick up a hot deal on golf now however the real value was there was no waiting so we finished in just over 3 hours.The greens, fairways and sand traps were all very consistent.

Both courses on this property are great. Pace of play is seldom an issue here because they don’t promote the courses and there is very little playing traffic. That being said they keep the greens in top condition so they are a pleasure to putt on. If they had a more favorable pricing structure I would play there more often.

Great golf course to play, friendly staff, good condition, loved it more by every hole.

Very nice course from walking into the pro shop to finishing the 18th hole.

Everything is in very good shape.

Fairways, bunkers , tee boxes and green are very well maintained.

If I had a complaint it’s the price!

Just too much for golf in Mexico.

But the staff sure help make the price a little easier.

Viruses and people were all great. Toughest was the roadway getting there.
