Fun and relaxing day on the course
Enjoyed our day a lot.
Good value for the golf compared to the other things we saw in Cabo. It is only a 9 hole course but that is no problem.
I thought the cost of club rental ($50) was a bit high.
I also think the mandatory $30 per person fee for unlimited drinks and a lunch is not warranted.
We were paired with another couple and the gal was pregnant. Seemed very unfair for her to pay $30 for a soft drink or water.
Best bang for your buck in Cabo
Bottom line Golf and Cabo is $300 to play any of the nice tracks. You’re looking just to keep your game sharp. This is the best bang for buck..
Reasonable price. Well maintained.
I enjoy this course. Challenging yardage for a senior. Staff are pleasant and engaging. I like Raul as the starter. He's efficient, friendly and always helpful.
Updated Review!
I needed to write a second review, since we played at Vidanta two days after the first review, and the experience was quite a bit different. First of all, the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, from the two young fellows loading our clubs and equipping our cart, to the starter, who got us out early so that we could play with another couple, with whom we had the best time. Secondly, we were able to make the best of the all inclusive food and drinks, since we were familiar now with what was available. We were finished the round in under four hours and then got to sit and visit with our new friends. Thank you, Vidanta staff, for the enjoyable day!
Good value for the green fees
The check in process seemed disorganized and resulted in a line up which took 20-25 minutes so we went from having time to putt and chip to being on the tee box. We got a deal through TeeOff, and then paid the $30 all inclusive fee upon check in, which at least we knew about but it is strange when you are forced to pay $60 for two when all we wanted was a couple of Pacificos. The tacos after nine holes were good, but then a foursome jumped ahead of us on #10 (fathers with young sons). There doesn’t seem to be anyone monitoring who is playing with whom, and whose turn it is. When we first teed off, there was another couple waiting so we assumed we were playing with them, which was great. They clearly didn’t want to play with anyone and at the end of the first hole we were strongly encouraged to move ahead on our own. This is fine but now there were three twosomes in a row…. The course itself was good to play for what the original green fees were.
Great Value
Very nice course layout, plenty challenging for the weekend Rec golfer. Staff very friendly and overall great value. Would definitely play here again.
Okay, but not great.
First disappointment was when I checked in and I was told there was a $30 food/beverage fee. It was mandatory and although the food & drinks were okay, it's was just a surprise and not mentioned on the TeeOff app. Second disappointment is no driving range to warm up on . There is no space to add one and so I get that, but again it's one of the reasons why my rating is only average. Given the excessive (and unreasonable) price for golf in Los Cabos, this is an acceptable alternative.
Average Muni Course
I’ve played a lot of the courses in the Cabo area and this was by far my least favorite. Best thing was the price. When I booked the round, it showed the 18 hole price. I did not realize it was a 9 hole course. My fault for not researching it better. If you are just looking to play some golf while in the Cabo area and don’t want to break the bank. This is the course for you. They do have rental clubs. Titleist t200 and t300 irons. $60 rental for a round. I had my own clubs but the people I played with had rentals.
Friendly Golf Course
We played here after researching other courses in the area and were sold on the price. Upon arrival we were treated like members, never touching our golf clubs till the 1st tee. The course is a 9 hole played twice with 3 par 3's, 4 par 4's and 2 Par 5's. We were offered Tacos for lunch mid round and there was all beverages were included in the $30 mandatory fee. Overall, for the price we payed this was a fantastic way to get a round in whilst in Cabos.
Not horrible but not great.
Worth $150 for 2 but not $500
add in $60 for mandatory food
add in $100 a set for clubs
Course is pretty beat up
Grumpy locals as well, make sure you ask permission before you pass a 4 some that zig zags the course 10 yds at a time!
Mama said knock you out!
