Vidanta Golf - Great Little 9 Hole
My husband and I enjoy playing Vidanta when we are in Cabo. It's fairly inexpensive and you pay an additional $30 for food and drink. Great little course!
Good for the price
Fun little course I had the 7:08 tee time so wasnt an issue of slow play after the turn that much. Waited a couple minutes on one of the par 3s. Decent shape bunkers could use a top up of nicer sand but stay out of them and you dont have an issue. For the price I will play again when down here.
Paired with two plus us two plus they had a non payer rider who played fro their two sets of clubs. All were beginners with many whiffs, out of bounds. None knew golf etiquette. Did not rake sand traps, drove carts all over even next to the greens. Had no ball marks, laughed, talked, hit out of turn, hit into group in front, etc. it was a horrible day except for the weather. Will never play there again!
Exceptional staff, challenging course, good pace of play.
Did not like the $30 us per person food and beverage obligation.
Vidanta
If you don’t have the budget $250 plus to play some of the other courses in Cabo, this is a nice alternative. Staff is very nice, it includes food and drinks and you can have a good time
Only reasonable price for golf in Los Cabos
This is a 9 hole course that you do twice. Course conditions are pretty good, traps could use some ore sand as they seemed hard packed. NO DRIVING RANGE, which is unfortunate as if you come to Los Cabos for a vacation in winter, there is a good chance you haven't played for a few months and so warming up by hitting into a net off a mat just doesn't do it. Golf has become too expensive ($200 - $425) in Los Cabos and this is the only course you can play for around $100.
Too many people
The pace of play was slow because there were too many people playing. It’s an industry. It is the less expensive golf in Cabos but it’s still not worth the price, they ask you for 30 more dollars for all inclusive eating and drinking but it’s not worth the price (unless you drink a lot…). You can have one sandwich or tacos for eating buy that’s all. Plus, it’s a 2 x 9 holes
Constantly changing their rules
the drinks and food rules for the $30 keep changing , i feel like they nickel and dime you over a 50c beer , and food should be avail when you want to eat it not when they tell you to get it all at once
EXTRA FOOD ASSESSMENT $30 US
Due to diet restrictions I was not able to participate fully with the food or beverage options presented to me thus this was a an exorbitant charge. Also this did not appear on the Golf Now app & if it did there was no clear indication of it until you arrived and booked in.
After the first day I was aware of the fee and chose to pay it anyway due to my time constraints.
Must play
I booked this course as an in between and to my surprise I found myself playing it again the following morning. The hardest part was finding the entrance. The place was humming with activity and even though it’s only nine holes it was extremely fun, my girlfriend and I played it twice on both days. The $30 food/drink fee was well worth the price as the food amazing along with all the staff, hats off to the ladies on the grill.
