Vidanta Los Cabos

I was informed when I arrived that my Nike Golf shirt that is collarless was not good enough to play the cow pasture called Vindanta. It is a golf shirt made by Nike but they were not flexible at all. The course was empty and they would rather not allow someone on with real golf wear without a collar that have someone play and tip their service people well. Lost money for all the staff. The head pro didn't care, it was all about him enforcing rules than being accommodating, it was all power trip for him. He just didn't;t care and it showed. Will never go back. I am also a local that was willing to place once or twice a week and bring friends but his lack of customer service skills destroyed that.

A perfect place to scratch your golf itch during you Cabo trip. Course is solid, rentals were okay too but definitely a literal mixed bag. They don't skimp on the all you can eat and drink either.

I just don't get it.

Each green fee also requires a mandatory food and bev fee of $20 usd . Not included with your golfNOW fee. It does include dried out tacos or quesadias and unlimited drinks. Which helped as I was with my wife who is just beginning to.play. so with nobody else stupid enough to be here, we basically had the course to ourselves. Which was fine. We made a nice day of it, and my wife scored her first par on a par 3 and a bogey consecutively! (Priceless)

But I just dint get how it's so hard to mess up growing Bermuda grass???? All it needs is water.!

And this is a Vidanta property!?......Wow!

If you cannot water this proper then shut it down. Full refund what not be enough for my waste of time.

First, I thought I was just paying the $59 9 hole rate, but when you get their they extort you to pay and extra $22 mandatory food charge. So we paid $162 for two of us. Next, since they never mentioned aerated greens, I’m going to assume their green were nothing buy dirt with patches of green paint. Then course itself was so horrible all patchy with dirt fairways that it made me feel like I was playing in a Mad Max movie. I would not waste your money on this dump, but I will say the staff was friendly, but I bet each hopes to get the experience to move on to others courses.

Instead of watering the greens this time of year, they decided to put an inch of sand over the green to protect it it was the worst experience ever been going there for years I will never go back again

Played it five times in 12 days, the first two rounds I just turned up at the course & they got me out pretty much straight away. They were having issues with the GolfNow and TeeOff golf apps not working, so I paid a bit more for the first couple of rounds, the last three I was able to use those apps, so averaged 67.00 USD. The course itself is likely to be a low rated municipal back home, but the staff really bust their humps to make it enjoyable. Can’t say enough about them, from the Proshop all the way through the starter, beverage carts and club jockeys.

My wife and I are here for two weeks & have a place that backs onto the 8th tee. Happy spent the first five days of the vacation alternately watching golfers from the deck whilst trying to book a tee time on GolfNow or TeeOff golf apps. Kept saying there were no times available during my fortnight stay, though there may have only been one foursome every hour. Finally decided to just show up at the course and got on straight away. There were some technical glitches with the apps, so in person saved the day! The course is only nine holes and 3,000 yards from the tips but with four sets of tee boxes, one can vary your choice on the second nine to make it more challenging. I’ve played it now three times in five days (solo all three times) and found it to be good value for the money (use the Hot Deals option on the golf apps to get the best pricing. Tacos and burritos are good, the cerveza frosty cold and the staff friendly and accommodating. Cost has varied from 65-89 uSD thus far, which includes your food and beer/tequila.

We were told that we could not play wearing a T-Shirt or at least that it would have to have a collar and that if we were to leave and come back, we would have to schedule another Tee Time and that we will also be charged for "cancelling" the current one. So, we bought a $35 USD polo-shirt.

But after we had finished our first round of 9 holes, we noticed that there were at least 2 other players wearing Tee Shirts. Needles to say that we were not happy.

Had a great time golfing here. The staff was friendly. The course was in excellent shape. Worth it to pay for the unlimited food and drink. Fish tacos were delicious!

First time playing the course, overall a decent layout wind can make it challenging. 9 holes only so have to play it twice. Very cheap greens fees which included lunch (tacos). Pro Shop was slow to get people out but course was not busy. Rental clubs are old but functional, cost more than the round.

Nice course in a convenient location in San Jose del Cabo. Well maintained, especially the greens, but can be a little dry and has a smelly wastewater pond. Friendly staff. Standard rates are high but good deals with GN except the extra mandatory food and beverage fee that is not good value if you are not guzzling beer. Should be a discount for early morning golf.
