Good value!
Pace of play is slow, but so is pace of play at most courses in Cabo. Great value - lunch and drinks are included for a mandatory $35US fee.
Fun Course
Good mix of hole layouts, great for an amateur player like myself. Bunkers a little hard packed. Good value for money. Friendly, helpful staff.
Course ok…my golf ? Not so good!
The. Green fees quoted at the club were quite high. Went to GolfNow and got a much lower price. However when you add the $35 for a taco lunch, $65 for very used Tililist (sp) clubs, $35 for my wife to ride along and some taxes it was an expensive day.
The fairways are wide ( but not wide enough for my slice) and the greens are large and relatively straight.
It was a good day.: not the best but good!
Somewhat dissatisfied with golf now communications
I am writing mostly concerning the communication to for purchasers on the Golf now app. First off, the course itself was great! no problems there. However, when I booked through golf now, there was no communication regarding the mandatory all inclusive fee that the course requires. This was an unforseen cost that was not part of my vacation budget. This mandatory fee was only disclosed after the Tee time was booked and when I received my confirmation. The additional price was about 40 dollars per person. I feel strongly that those types of fees should be clearly stated in the price listed before someone decides to buy. Thank you for valuing my opinion.
Cabo Golf
Cabo golf is typically crazy expensive. This was a nice track at a great rate. Great spot to start off my vacation and get the swing going
Course amenities and pace of play
The Golfnow website states that there is a driving range, there is no driving range. The Golfnow websites sites says you can walk. They will not allow you to walk. It is a public course, so expect to see new golfers and very slow pace of play.
It’s your typical municipal course
I’m always happy to be golfing. Value for your money is good until you factor in the mandatory food & beverage $35.
Staff was very friendly from check in to caddies. They are 2 👍🏻👍🏻 up.
Decent but manage your expectations
This is a nice little 9 hole corse ( for 18 you make a round trip). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rental clubs available ( approx $50 US ) for 18 holes. The rental clubs are GREAT clubs. ( Titleist) so have no fear of that.
The course is similar to a typical muni course in the States. Fairways are hard and dried out and greens are slooooow. But there are some longer par 5s. Especially from the blacks.
But for $100, a cart, some included beers on hole 4 and the turn, it’s well worth it. Just manage your expectations. This “ ain’t El Derado…..but to get out and swing, I would recommend it.
Have fun!!
Poor Customer Service
I played this course with my son and brother in-law. We rented three sets of clubs that were "well" used to say the least. My son took one swing with the 7iron into the hitting bay and the shaft broke just below the grip. The staff proceeded to tell us that we would be responsible for the repair of the club at the cost of $95. When asked if they charge for all the dents that were on the heads of the woods they smiled and said no. Beware if you rent clubs from this course and make sure you look over them all before you use. I would take pictures as they might try to charge for something.
