Decent but manage your expectations
This is a nice little 9 hole corse ( for 18 you make a round trip). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rental clubs available ( approx $50 US ) for 18 holes. The rental clubs are GREAT clubs. ( Titleist) so have no fear of that.
The course is similar to a typical muni course in the States. Fairways are hard and dried out and greens are slooooow. But there are some longer par 5s. Especially from the blacks.
But for $100, a cart, some included beers on hole 4 and the turn, it’s well worth it. Just manage your expectations. This “ ain’t El Derado…..but to get out and swing, I would recommend it.
Have fun!!
Poor Customer Service
I played this course with my son and brother in-law. We rented three sets of clubs that were "well" used to say the least. My son took one swing with the 7iron into the hitting bay and the shaft broke just below the grip. The staff proceeded to tell us that we would be responsible for the repair of the club at the cost of $95. When asked if they charge for all the dents that were on the heads of the woods they smiled and said no. Beware if you rent clubs from this course and make sure you look over them all before you use. I would take pictures as they might try to charge for something.
So disappointed
We have golfed this course many, many times over the years and this was the worst condition we had experienced here. The fairways were dry and the tee were covered in sand. Only the greens were in good condition. After years of enjoying this course, we won't be back.
F&B
Paid $35.00 US for food & drink. no food available after round. No one told me it would close at 4:30 pm. No refund
Surprise fee
Hi,
Everything was good. I booked thru golf now and paid my fee in advance. However, at check in I was charged a “mandatory $35usd fee”. Not sure what it was for and I do not recall being warned beforehand.
Beautiful course
How can you go wrong for $135. You play a 9 course twice with beers and food included. I saw a bunch of negative reviews, must of been at a different course because this one was beautiful. You can see the ocean at the second and third hole. Like I said you can't go wrong for $135.
Course was fine but they charge you $35 for drinks and food per person which is fine if you could get the food portion. They told us we could eat before, between or after the round but never told us the grill closes at 4:30. When we finished at 4:20 they said sorry the grill is already closed. They offered us more drinks but we wanted to eat so we went away hungry and upset. Never again!
Ripped off at Vidanta Golf
We had a fully paid confirmation and upon checking in to play were informed that we had to pay an additional 35 USD per person. Upon questioning we simply got a shrug and informed that they were course fees!?
There was a lineup behind us, and couldn't really argue AND there was not an easy way to call GOLFNOW, so just paid in cash.
Another patron suggested that it was for the food and beverages - 4 tacos?
Reasonably priced
As a part time golfer, we look for value when attending vacation golf. The green fees plus the ability to only play 9 holes is nice. To need to pay also for meals and drinks extra was unfortunate but not unreasonably priced. We would golf again time permitting and would recommend to friends.
Best value golf in Cabo
If you’re looking for a round of golf in Cabo at or under $100, this may be the only option. The round included cart, beverages, and food. The challenge in getting the food (Tacos only) for those teeing off after noon is that the kitchen closes 4:30pm, so get your tacos before round or on the turn. The 9 hole track is fun, straight forward, in decent condition and provides plenty of challenge for the recreational players. Our go to course when in Cabo!
Extra fees
It should be noted that extra fees are mandatory for
food and drinks. Last year it was $25 this year it was
$35, even with inflation that’s a big jump.
We booked through Golf now and these fees were
not mentioned.
Fun course and nice people.uu
I will return back
I read other people's reviews before going. I was surprised to pay $35 for food, but I was glad I knew about it before going. However, compared to the expensive prices of other golf courses in Cabo, I don't think it's expensive.
