The Grand Mayan and Mayan Palace - Vidanta Puerto Penasco

This is a must play course if you are in Peñasco. The conditions are great and the pace is great too. 2 of us were finished in 3 hours. The course is tough. I am an 8 handicap and scored an 89. If you are a 15+ handicap you will enjoy the views but are likely to be frustrated. I will be back next year to play it again.

Great layout, very scenic and fantastic greens. The rough was easily 6-7 inches due to not having a rough unit and most of the fairs were in spotty shape. I can see this course being one of the best in Mexico, just not in this condition though.

Love playing this course when vacationing in Rocky Point. The views are great and so many holes with the ocean views and sounds.

NIce Ocean course, made challenging by 30 MPH winds the day I played.

We teed off at 8am and only saw 4 other golfers the entire round that took 3 hours and 15 minutes. Greens were in phenomenal shape as were the fairways, great job by greenskeepers. Ocean views, blind tee shots, water carries, this course has it all!

Everything was great. A lot of bunkers but beautiful course by the ocean. Will play again.

Drove 40 minutes to this course to find out the front 9 was closed for maintenance. Would have been nice to know this ahead of time so I could have picked a different day. No discount was offered either.

Nice course very scenic with several holes right along the Gulf. Lots of blind shots from the back tees. Lots of forced carries from all tees, will be a tough course for the higher handicap.

Full 40 minute drive on rough roads from Rocky point,

Course was in excellent condition. Greens were very receptive. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Only the front nine was open due to maintenance on the back. Played the front twice which was OK. Very enjoyable day

This course is beautiful, challening & well maintained with a friendly staff. There is currently no Club House so you will need to check-in at the Pro Shop which is located inside the hotel lobby area & then drive or catch a hotel shuttle to the course.

There is no discount when half of the course is closed for overseeing. They charge the normal amount, and then say play the front nine twice.

Pne of the greatest golf deals to br found anywhere. As spectacular a setting as whistling straits or any other course along a large body of water. Jack Nicklaus doesn’t make it easy either. Don’t miss the opportunity to play a fantastic course. Bypass Phoenix and come four hours south.

Equal to any great course along the oceans and lakes. Jack Nichlaus came through here. You'll appreciate his design when you're not cursing him for making you hit your shots.
