The third, a dogleg left of 376, typifies most of the holes on this course: not long, but challenging in other ways. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

Seven ( # 3 index) seems like one of the best par-4’s in Connecticut. This photo doesn’t reveal just how tough it is to make a par here. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

The fourteenth green, at 560 yards, will take two Herculean shots to reach in two, but anything less may find its way into the small brook before it. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/22/2020

Amazing course!
Love the design and layout and each hole is a new fun challenge. Great course and love the spot where the snack shack is. Hahah will be back for sure
Mid week bargain
Played on a wed at noon with $10 tee off reward each. Greens were inconsistent. Fairways were good. Pace was a little slow (4:20). Very hot day, could have had more water on the course.
Very good conditioned course. I was playing solo and the pace of play was a bit on the slow side, but expected when playing behind a couple of 3/4 person groups. Other than that it was very nice course to play. A cart was very usefull as there are a lot of slopes and hills.
Short but Very Challenging
Played here 3 or 4 days in a row. Loved it. Short course - I played irons off the tee except for a few par 5s. Be careful of bombing it past where you can see. Some hidden creeks and drop offs. Rough was TOUGH. Easy to lose a ball that you thought was in play. Greens were fast with some very difficult pin positions. The greens were hard to hold approach shots from mid or long irons so you really have to think about every shot.
Nice public option
Had a great day at Norwich. Course is challenging and well laid out. As a first timer, you will find some blind shots that will potentially get you in trouble. Wasn’t real happy with the type of sand in the bunkers. Lots of bare spots around, but most of the time they shouldn’t come in to play. Greens were rolling nicely. Overall a great day at a fair price. But one waning…. It’s a very tough course to walk, and unless you are in really good shape, or have a remote cart and want to take a nice, hilly walk, I’d recommend going for a ride.
Great Course and Layout.. Pace of Play Issues
Great course and layout. Only issue was pace of play. Id suggest long hitters off the tee stay away from this track. Short 4 pars hold up play as there were multiple times i had to club down off the tee just to move things along instead of waiting for the group in front of us to hit their 3rd or 4th shot to clear the fairway or front of the green.
I am all for having a place "anyone" can come and play but pace of play needs to be enforced.
Plan for a 4.5-5 hr round.
