The third, a dogleg left of 376, typifies most of the holes on this course: not long, but challenging in other ways. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

Seven ( # 3 index) seems like one of the best par-4’s in Connecticut. This photo doesn’t reveal just how tough it is to make a par here. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

Eleven is another great hole, its protected green seen here in the shadows. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/13/2022

The fourteenth green, at 560 yards, will take two Herculean shots to reach in two, but anything less may find its way into the small brook before it. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/22/2020

Golfer Reviews
Underrated gem of a course
Always in very good shape. Challenging layout. The staff if friendly and helpful. On course snack and drink stand you pass between 3 and 4 and again at 10. Pace of play is usually good but there was a slow foursome in front of us. Great restaurant and bar on site also.
Norwich Golf Course is my “go to” course when I want to play a round. It’s always in good shape. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I meet the nicest people on the course and have a lot of fun. The course itself has some challenging holes but is very fair overall. I do recommend this.course!
Pace of Play
Played behind two groups that held everyone up. Had to wait extensively for every shot! Eventually had to skip holes to get away from them. Not how golf is supposed to be played!
The course is in very good shape. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. For a public golf course, the Pace of play is reasonable. It’s my “ go to” place to play when I’m in town. I highly recommend this course.
Worth it to play with a golf now deal
I understand that industry prices are rising, but all public courses in south eastern CT being $90+ with a cart for 18 is ridiculous. Love this course. Been playing here for 15+ years, and I will continue to do so, but I will always look for a hot deal on golf now before I spend $90 to golf here
