A pleasure, as expected
The only part of this round that beat the immaculate upkeep of this course was the weather we experienced. This was not the first time I've enjoyed Baywood Greens and it will not be the last.
I will say that it was disappointing to arrive early for a 1:20PM tee time and find the driving range was completely full. There was no warm up for me which is something I am accustomed to on the Delmarva peninsula. There must have been 20-30 youngsters on the range, I did not want to complain because I feel it's good for the game of golf but it did cost me on a few early holes.
Pace of play was good, not great, waiting on about a dozen occasions.
I would say the biggest complaint I have is regarding the greens. Playing here before, the greens have been in very good shape for a public course. Today I found them to be bumpy on nearly every hole and every putt. I'm not sure if they were rolled in prior years but not recently, but it was not only me that noticed it within my group.
The food, and service was excellent as usual.
Unbelievable
Me and my gf booked a 4pm tee time for under $70. If they charged $500 it would have been worth every penny. Staff were beyond nice and personable. Free range balls, got us out a couple minutes early. Course was immaculate. It's hard to believe this course is public. Better than any public course in the northeast, better than any top shelf course in myrtle beach. Fantastic
Beautiful Landscaping
This is a beautiful, very well maintained course. We love to play here when we are on vacation. Would recommend this to anyone.
Great Course But Pricey
Great course and the scenery is beautiful! Course conditions were great but it had just rained the night before so it was cart path only which made the pace of play slower. But the group in front of us was slow and the ranger never asked them to pick it up! But overall a great course the practice area is great. The other thing was there is a refreshment house when you check in and when you’re done but no one was there when we finished our round and it was hot and humid out. We could have used a cold beverage! The only thing stoop me from playing again is the price!
Well worth the money!
This course is number one on my must play in Delaware and now one of my all-time favorites!
Although they carry a full tee sheet the starter and staff are highly organized and get you out within 10 minutes of your tee time all while being extremely polite and accommodating..
I was a single and they slid me in an hour early. The staging area is far from the first tee and the journey is one to be experienced as it takes you through a beautiful wood line and then opens up to reveal the first tee box.
The course is in excellent shape! The front nine is very easy to score on however, the back nine can be slightly challenging especially if you are wearing down.
If you're worried about the cost spend the extra money it is well worth it as the experience is excellent. It will be difficult to play any other course when I visit the shore as Baywood Greens sets the bar very high!
Thanks again for a great golf outing!

Great course but
Course was in excellent condition. My only real issue is that it was extremely hot and the shop at the turn was not open and the cart girl didn't find us until hole 18.
Best course in Rehoboth
The course is amazing. The only thing stopping me from playing it every day is the price.
Great place
One of the nicest courses I’ve played on Delmarva. Staff was friendly and wonderful. 5 stars!
Masterpiece
Last played Baywood in 2008 and it became one of my favorite courses. Finally was in the area and got the chance to play it again 13 yrs later and it didn’t disappoint. The course was in perfect shape and possibly better then back in the day. From tee to green there’re not many blemishes and it shows that they keep it up to tour like quality. The greens were smooth and fast. No hole is alike and the layout keeps you intrigued for what’s next. It’s going to be the most expensive round you pay in the area but it’s worth it. If your vacationing in the Ocean City area or within driving distance (NJ, Philly, Baltimore, DC) this is a must play and will definitely become your favorite. As many people say, this is the Augusta of the North.
“” The Augusta Of The East-Coast “”
Don’t Take My Word: Because I’m Prejudice and it’s Only My Favorite Golf Course And I’ve Played All Over North-America. The Greens Are Lighting Fast, If Your above The Hole .... you're ( Dead-Man ) Putting. The Course As Usual is in Fantastic Shape. The Staff is Super Friendly. It’s Pricey But The Best Course In The State is Suppose To Be...... Use Golfnow.Com, I Hope The Checks In The Mail. Seriously You Won’t Be Disappointed. The Guys I played With was using it as a Tune-Up Course For There Round Somewhere Else Tomorrow...... Boy Ate They Gonna Be Disappointed ....!!!
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Course was in amazing shape with beautiful scenery. My only one very small issue was paying 150 during the week. Course was amazing but coming from New York south and still paying 150 it just prices me out. Amazing course though
Fantastic
The course was in great shape and the staff was awesome.
Baywood Greens is spectacular!
Spectacular course, beautiful layout and challenging greens. Friendly staffs and amenities. Practuce facilities is great and grand club house. Definitely will return to play. After playing the round, I truly understand why the course been named "Augusta of the North".
