Tamarack resort in Idaho is sure to exceed all expectations. Its newly reopened Osprey Meadows Golf Course was transformed by the team of Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Bruce Charlton, bringing life back to the 18-hole track with a bonus 19th hole as well. The course begins in a meadow and winds through the forest, presenting a completely new layout with challenging slopes and narrow greens. Lessons, a golf simulator, and a putting course are also offered at Osprey Meadows. Apart from their revived golf facilities, Tamarack has an abundant list of recreational amenities offered to guests. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance of your quarters: guests may chose from condos, townhomes, and estates to rent during their stay, or even explore owning property on-site if you wish to extend your stay far beyond your vacation. Each unit is newly constructed with a contemporary mountain design and fully functioning kitchens. Shred the slopes in the winter or hike and bike the trails in the summertime before enjoying concerts on property. Lessons for both winter and summer activities are available. I Recommend This Course
A whole new Osprey Meadows
Closed for many years, Osprey Meadows is back and arguably better than ever. The RTJ team returned to soften the routing and tweak a number of holes, while also adding a putting course and a bonus 19th hole. Most resort golfers will lose a few balls, but they'll have fun doing it. The beautiful setting with backdrops of both the mountains and the lake can't be beat.
