The Arrowwood Resort & Conference Center overlooks the 27-hole Brooks Golf Club between the shores of West and East Okoboji Lake in the heart of Iowa’s Great Lakes Region. There’s an indoor water playland and outdoor pool, volleyball and croquet courts for the children and the Village Salon and Mineravas Restaurant and Bar for all. The original 18-hole layout by Val Brooks in 1932 attracted famous players such as Sam Snead, Walter Hagen and Babe Didrikson Zaharias for exhibition matches and hosted the Iowa Open. The additional nine was added later in 1995. Bud’s Pub spills out onto the Par Tee Patio by opening a garage door.Facts

Great course
There are 3 different 9 hole courses. One is rather short while the other two are average distance. Played mid afternoon during the week and it was pretty much wide open. The course was in excellent condition.

Hot day, needed water on course for golfers
Challenging but fun
Got this round as a Hot Deal, well worth it. Green are fast but accurate, fairways are well kept, some holes are definitely challenging. If you're in the area, you should check it out!
Challenging, but fun
The greens, 2nd cut, and rough are all immaculate. Mature trees are all in play on this 9. I found myself behind them more often than not, but surprisingly, were easy enough to get out of. Just a great round. I played at 6:30 am so there was no one around. Only cost $17.50 for 18 holes w/ this discount, but only had time for 9.
