Tom should be embarrassed

Horrible conditions and an awful layout. Definitely not worth the listed green fees nor the discounted fees available via GolfNow/Teeoff

I thought the same thing, Tom Lehman should be embarrased. I decided to chalk it up to not enough space, but i agree with your review.

Happy New Year

I’ve lived in the valley for 50+ years. I’ve played this course since I moved here I’ve seen the course take no pride in upgrading the links course it’s been the same for the past 25 years. The addition of the new pro shop is nice, but does not add to the quality of play or course conditions and the people working in it on January 1, 2024 were extremely rude and in the old pro shop they were always rude, unsocial and felt like they were entitled to something other than serving guests. Cart services does a great job, but the overall course conditions have never been improved upon bunkers rebuilt, greens rebuilt, new ew tea boxes installed. However, the corporate greed continues in the green fees, continued to get absurd for an executive course that’s average at best. If it wasn’t for the local Phoenicians, who paid play this course around, especially in the summer, both courses would be bulldozed and townhomes built and that’s a fact. There is no discounts or other considerations given to the locals. There should be a local discount rate just like Torrey Pines does for the residence of San Diego.

Good value for the Flash deal

Overall it’s a links course with some nice signatures holes with views and a few that were just ok. The greens were really slow and some bare areas and the T boxes need some work along with bunkers with no sand. The fairways were in good shape though and rough was fair. The club house is non existent so forget about getting a cup of coffee etc. Final thought is that it was worth the flash deal price after that I would skip it.

Convenient!

I decided to play at the last minute and the proximity of Biltmore made it the obvious choice.

The staff was very friendly and the new dogs they are building looks great. I played the links course, which was serviceable but nothing to write home about and definitely overpriced for what it is.

Most of the greens are in pretty bad shape, tee boxes were hit or miss. All of the fairways were in great shape.

Nice little courser but there are much better values out there for the same quality.

Green grass and lots of water

Loved the course. Plush green grass. Beautiful water holes. Very friendly staff. Would definitely do it again.

Not worth the money

Disappointed to say the least. Course layout is awful. Too easy to get greens mixed up. Playing across other holes. No signage. People hitting at you from other fairways. Not worth the winter premium price. If you can get a hot deal it’s not a bad time but for $170 it’s not worth the price. Much better golf around for relatively same price around Scottsdale. Course is crammed in too small of an area. Greens have holes and rough patches. For the money you would expect much better. Construction everywhere. Tiny little halfway house right in the middle of a construction zone. Just too much to complain about for that price.

Not ready for prime time

The Estates course could be good someday just not now

Course needs to grow in and mature

Greens had problems and were very slow

Surprising to see standing water in many places

It beats working

My first time playing the estate course. I found it to be solidly mediocre. The staff was very friendly. The facilities which are in renovation will be nice. It was a remake of the old course which sat in front of the clubhouse. It’s a straightforward series of holes that are out and back out and back from the clubhouse.

There are so many more exciting courses in the Phoenix area. I probably won’t return to this one. The other course at the Biltmore is more fun.

Not that exciting

I played the estates course for the first time this week. I found it to be just OK, not very exciting.

No real elevation changes the greens were not so great, the sand was very good!

Next time I’ll play the other course. I’m excited about the construction they’re doing on the new clubhouse. That will be pretty awesome.

Disappointing

I was excited to play the newly renovated estates course, I was very let down. For the price you can play wildfire, which is far far better. The routing on the back 9 is pretty confusing and crowded. There were times we had groups from 3 different holes in our way on shots. Also, they greens were in very very poor shape. It doesn’t look like they added much to the previous links course but the price skyrocketed. If I play again I would play the Links course since it is cheaper. If you’re looking for something in this price range, there are better options for you. This should be on the same level as orange tree. I would only play again if they greatly reduced the price and fixed up the greens (it’s brand new!!!)

No different than Adobe

All they did was change the hole numbers. Number 6 is thr old number 1. I was expecting a new course instead we got Adobe 2.0

Not ready yet

New layout was interesting if a bit confusing. Some greens were in bad shape but mostly pretty good. Huge disappointment was absolutely no distance markets. Normally not a problem but they don’t have gps service with any of the major apps either. Should not be charging what they charge if they aren’t ready for play…
