Some consider the Estates course (formerly known as Adobe golf course) at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to be grand and stately, a prime example of golf course design in the pre-modern era, combining rare beauty with solid trickery. It makes for a round both relaxing and challenging played on lush 50-year-old fairways, with a spacious layout, reminding on of golf as it ought to be played: the glory days when graphite went into pencils and balls were only white.

The Adobe golf course at the Arizona Golf Club measures 6,430 yards from the white tees and comes in at par-71.

Due to the mild Arizona winters, the Adobe Golf Course at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is open year-round.

Wild West

Course layout is really tight, can be easy to get holes mixed up if not paying attention. We had a few groups jump in front of us which was pretty annoying, but this twosome on the 18th hole completely ruined it for us. We were also a twosome and had a good pace going, but these kids thought they were good enough to play from the tips and played multiple balls after they shanked their first shot. Didn’t matter since this was the last hole, but before all this there was no Marshall or anyone else driving around to enforce pace of play.

Hidden Gem

Great course to get round in…views amazing and course in good shape with fluffy white sand. Some of the holes on back challenging to know next shot as fairways overlap. Will be back

Great day for golf!

This is the Biltmore! Great service and great conditions. We played the Estates Course and the pace of play was great never waited or felt rushed. I wanted to call out Matt and Frank for great service.

Looks Easy but is Really Challenging

First time here. The staff is the nicest ever. Very helpful and accommodating. Teed off early and it was a 3 hour round (twosome.) On paper, course looks simple: straight and not very long. In practice: miss a green and pay the price. Moguls, deep bunkers and thick rough will bite you. I could see that a little local knowledge would really help here. Conditions weren't optimal, but it is Arizona in the summer. It hit 110° today so... The greens were in pretty rough shape. Bumpy and lots of bare spots. Still was a very enjoyable day and the staff made up for some of the course deficiencies. I'd go back, but soon. Looks like a number of new trees are planted and when they grow up it will make this course much harder.

playable course that needs some TLC

Not a difficult course to play with straight fairways and opportunities to score. The greens were fast but had bare grass-free barren areas on pretty much every hole. The Tee-boxes need some levelling (uneven/sloping). Easy to recover your ball if you hit wayward shots. I was expecting a better maintained course for a resort in Phoenix.

Easy playable course with open fairways

Wide fairways and no real hazards to speak off. Easy to find your ball even with hooks or slices. Tee boxes need attention and greens need grass. For a resort course (open to the public), these improvements are a must. Several greens had bare spots and the tee boxes were uneven.

Decent course for money

This was a decent for the money. Fairways were in great shape. Greens looked as if they were recently punched, and they were a bit bumpy. Overall I would play again.

Perfect Day of Golf at the Biltmore

The bar/restaurant is great; had a breakfast, played golf, all day cloudy, what a treat. The domed green on 12 is something else. You must land in the middle or the ball will roll off either left or right. Greens are in great shape. Lunch and drinks afterwards. Great Day.

Biltmore Bliss

The new (have not been here for a while) is chic. Taking a cart to the driving range is long, so get there early if you want to use the driving range. Course was manicured nicely, we tee'd off at 7:18 and the course was wet. Greens ball marks need to be repaired. Huge fairways and if you miss, you are in the next hole's fairway! Sand traps have great sand. The greens are large. The bar cart prices are fair. Bottom line, we had a great round and to look at the large estates that surround the course while playing is nice.
