Reviews
Golden Hills
The people were great. The course does need some work. Some of the greens need work. Some of the fairways need work also. The course has a great layout. Will continue to play.
Back 9 Closed
It was a fantastic day for golf, however everyone knew that and showed up today. The back 9 was closed so everyone was playing the front 9 twice. I may have spent as much time waiting at the tee boxes as I did playing today. Greens were also sandy. You simply can’t beat this price right now but there is a reason for that.
Good layout,friendly staff
Played this course, was ok nothing special about it. Greens were good with minor imperfections just as many other courses, faiways were decent for time of year but tee boxes need some work. Bunkers had plenty of sand. What I noticed is lack of product or ammenities, pro shop looked old and outdated same as carts, restaurant wasnt open during our round. The staff was really friendly from check in to cart girl no complaints there. Will recommend to anyone price was decent and course layout was good.
Awesome Value
When you can play 18 holes for about $20 it’s hard to beat. Loved the conditions of the course after some light rain the night before.
Not worth it - even for the discounted summer rates
I’ve played this course previously and never remember it being this bad. There was so much dirt & bare spots that 90% of the time we were hitting from something other than grass (even in the fairways).
The range is limited to 250 yd shots and not well marked.
The putting green is a long grouping of holes… not bad, just different.
The hot dogs were delicious for $5 each!
The cart guys….. forget about it! We pulled up to get our cart, opened the provided cooler and there was no ice. Even after saying something, the kid just sat on his phone so I walked over and scooped my own ice into the cooler. I then asked for another cooler for extra gatorades…. He said no (they were not busy and it was 110° outside). The water cooler on the range was just for decoration because it was dry!
Good layout, horrible condition, could be a fun course but I won’t be back for a while….. even though I got the round for under $25ea
Meh
Not a good course. Actually that's too harsh... Good course, Rough condition. Like many others, it seems like they're fighting the battle of what they can actually maintain. I can't count how many times I had lies that were just dirt. Greens and bunkers were pretty good, but fairways were inconsistent and rough was almost non-existent. Pay $15-20 more and go somewhere nicer.
Do SOMETHING!!!!
Please do SOMETHING!!!
the greens were in good shape but the rest of the course was garbage!!
I think they renamed it "golden hills" because all of the hills on the course were DIRT mounds and maybe could be considered "golden Hills".
No grass anywhere.
fairways were pure garbage.
i last played here in 2023 and it was garbage then. We came back with the hopes that they would have done something , anything to improve it but NOTHING!!!
it will be at least 2 years before we come back.
don't waste your money..
