The greens were green and lush. The fairways, green and lush. Tee boxes were pretty good. The overall aesthetics

Left a lot to be desired for someone visiting AZ to play golf. There are no views, no vistas, it’s in a shady area, the entrance looks run down and shabby. If you are a local and looking to play a round the staff there is trying to make the place playable and it was very playable indeed.

They have done a great job of improving the course from last year’s of neglect, the fairways are filling in nicely and the greens are great, other than from a few wet spots in low spots on a couple of the fairways, the new grounds keeper is definitely improving the course, I hope it continues

Ok like the title says, they (the staff, groundskeepers) are trying to make this better. The tee boxes (with the exception of one) were very good with divot replace seed mix at the tee boxes is a nice touch. The fairways are good, green, they were wet due to recent rains. The greens themselves were very green just slow due to the rains.

It’s the rest of the course that is “sketchy”. It’s not aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.

The course is in great condition with the greens being well kept.

Fairways and greens in good shape, back nine layoff very different from front nine and more fun/challenging. Check-in staff was not friendly at all which was confirmed by the 3 playing partners who said same thing. Bartender was very friendly.

For some reason this course never changes, its very predictable. Everytime I play it you can expect some wet spots, some not so perfect tee boxes, the whites tee box on 14 was HORRIABLE and you expect to hit it over the water with this tee box? But the greens were ALL great, as good as they were they were also very consistant(slow) which I finally got a hold of (no place to practice putting prior to the round) But will continue to play here, espically when the prices go back to normal.

Actually played twice this week, the 13th in warm sunny weather from the yellow tees, shot 75 and the 15th in cold wet weather from the whites, shot 83. All phases of the course are in darn good shape, greens have been good for months, rain and seed have finally filled in the fairways with good grass, the bunkers have good sand and the tees are better. Effort has been made by new/returning (Wally) management and his maintenance crew to get it back in shape after the previous management let it slide to a point where I thought I might never play it again. The leaking irrigation issues are slowly being improved and I hope they continue that. The putting green has had issues for many weeks so it has been unusable while they try to get the grass right. Most of the staff are very pleasant, thank you Hector. Some of the members spend a very significant amount of time filling in divots to the tune of 9-10 bottles of sand per round and it has made a difference in the quality of the course. Play it if you can.

We had a great day golfing! It rained during our round but the course held up very well!!

Not usually this positive but had an excellent time. Weather was cool and drippy but really enjoyed our day there inspite of the weather. Greens, traps and fairways in great condition some of the tees were just OK. Fun layout.

And to top it off had a really nice meal after the round. Try the fried cod.

This is always an enjoyable course to play with my buddies from work. It is a challenging course for the money. With costs of everything going up it’s nice to have a course that’s priced resonably during high season.
