Located just south of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, Legoland Discovery Center and the city of Tempe, Arizona Grand is a AAA Four Diamond Resort and among the Phoenix-Scottsdale area's largest golf resorts with 744 total guest rooms. Set on 164 acres, the highlight of the property is the 18-hole golf course that winds into desert foothills of the South Mountain Preserve on the back nine. Off the course, the highlight is six outdoor heated swimming pools, capped by a seven-acre water park features a water slide, lazy river and large hot tub. Arizona Grand's Athletic Club & Spa is 20,000 square feet and has 40 cardio machines and a separate free weights room, as well as 35+ weekly exercise classes and a five-lane, 20-meter adults lap pool. Arizona Grand invested $13 million into the property in 2017 that updated all guest suites and villas.Facts

Disappointed
Took my kids for their birthday this weekend play this course it was in such poor condition. Not sure if it was due to the heat the cart curl we only saw one time and yet it was 116° out golf carts were in poor shape, very dirty figuring this was a higher and resort. We expected a lot more very sad starting to look run down.

Not bad
Not bad for the price, did have an employee stop our twosome at #1 as I was about to tee off saying he had all the tee times when we booked a 5:40, he then just said whatever and played with us. By hole 3 we let him and his partner play ahead due to excessive talking during every shot we took. Then saw him driving basically on the greens. Course was in decent condition for this time of year but be careful with early tee times wanting to get out first, they have members and staff who apparently go out whenever, which is fine if we knew that.

Great views, excellent staff. There was great placement for bathrooms and water jugs, attendant was friendly and helpful. Loved it.

Great course
Great course to play with some holes being a certain style that you don’t necessarily play a lot elsewhere around here.
I would play again. Great condition for mid July.

Saturday morning
I thought we were first off, we were 2nd. We play very fast (3:15ish) so I'm not really an issue with a 4 hour round. I know, I'm picky. Aside from 1st hole green and 2nd hole under repair, the rest of the course was in great shape and the staff, as I become accustomed too was very nice and professional. Nice treat. Love the back 9 especially.

Great course undergoing some maintenance
Booked last minute 3:10pm tee time on GN for $36. Pace of play was awesome (Most no one is going to want to play in 112 heat). Course is undergoing maintenance so hole #2 has been changed from a Par 4 to a Par 3. The course does have many dry spots, which allowed for some terrible lies, but overall expected within the AZ heat.

Part golf part weird
If you’ve never played this course you should probably check it out once. It’s a hard place to take serious. Some very strange holes that don’t really seem like golf holes like #3 and some amazing views like #18. A good place to take someone that’s not from here. Not a great place for a serious round but still some wacky fun!

Phantom Horse
We played on a Thursday morning and we cruised through in a little over 3 hrs. They had some construction on hole 2, not a big deal for $40 that we paid. The course was in pretty decent shape.

Worth The Trip
Driving down from Surprise my anticipation was building as I heard so many great things about this course. Great layout especially on the back nine. Long Oar 5’s, undulating fairways and pretty decent greens for a July. The price was great, the round fun and the course pleasantly in good shape. Water coolers on every third hole, Marshall’s keeping the pace of play moving. Definitely a must course to okay!
