Arizona Grand Resort

Nice course, like playing two different courses. Front nine more open and back nine target golf with mountain views.

Arizona Grand is our favourite course! We played this course last April (2025), and at that time we were disappointed with the poor course conditions. We decided to try it again this year and I am very happy we did! The course this year is in almost perfect condition. The only issue is the forward (red) tee boxes; many were humped in the center, making it difficult/impossible for my wife to find a flat tee-off spot. This was our last game before returning home to Toronto, but we will be back next year.

This course is amazing, a little challenging if you can’t hit the long ball. Lots of hills and water.

Had a great time and almost pared the back nine.

I play The Grand about 40 times a year and they have added these new fences that make it hard to get out on the course where you need too!

My first time, lots of blind shots, elevation changes made this very difficult, course book provided for free was helpful but very hard to pick clubs and hit landing areas. This slows down pace of play for resort guests unfamiliar with the course. Nothing you can do about it, it's a very tricky, challenging layout. Love to play it again.

Negatives:

•Mounded & slanted tee boxes.

•Tee box were torn up. It was obvious they hadn’t been moved.

•Tee times are too close together. 8:15 tee time. 5.5 hour round.

•They have 1/2 of the fairways blocked off with rope & stakes.

•Overly sensitive gps on the carts.

Positives:

•Really cool layout with a couple of good views.

•Descent price but still not worth it with the conditions.

•It looks like they may start putting some money into the course. Saw some new flower beds around some of the tee boxes.

Really enjoyed the course holes offered multiple looks and club options. Open fairways, tight fairways, desert conditions and generous to tight greens. Putting surfaces could have been a bit quicker. Enjoyed the play, definitely worth playing again. Detroit, MI

This course is super challenging and a fun layout. Lots of memorable holes. Only downsides were the fast greens (on a weekend!) and the slow, inexperienced players in front of us. There was a ranger but it didn't seem to help much. Staff was professional and courteous. Had a fun time and would definitely play again!

Pace of okay was great.

The course was well manicured, greens were in great shape and layout was good. Definitely playable and we didn’t lose many balls.

I would wish they would offer playing rights for locals willing to pay an annual fee.

Book a AZ bday golf trip and Arizona Grand was the first course out of 3. We had watched a video on YouTube to get the layout of the course and that video was in November December. Course was in amazing shape for being in 100 degree weather. It was definitely tough and narrow. I think we didn’t use driver much, maybe 3 or 4 times. Staff and starter was friendly. Starter gave us tips and what to do. The Marshall going around help us out a lot and made us move along bc we were behind due to we didn’t know the course so he stood at one of holes and watched our tee shots and told us where to hit it. Cart girl was very diligent and saw her quite a lot. Always had a drink. Overall would play here again, fun and challenging course.
