Canoa Ranch Golf Resort

Visiting from Oregon every year for the entire month of May we play this course at least once a week.

NEVER a disappointment.Whether the course, staff, restaurant.

Other courses should take note.

Great course. Would give it 5 stars if the course was in a little better shape and just a heads up the sand is not really sand (dirt & rocks).

I used to play Canoa every week so I anxiously

anticipated my round. The course was not as I remembered. The shape of the course in general had deteriorated. The tee boxes were average but the fairways were very dry and not well kept. The greens had been punched. The maintenance staff was working while I was there and seemed understaffed. There was just a lack of manpower and water on the course. I play the Green Valley courses every week after traveling from Tucson. I am familiar with most courses in the area and can only place this course's condition as below average. I love the layout and how my game fits the course. I would hate to see this course neglected.

If I had known they had just aerated the greens I wouldn’t have played there. They still don’t have sand in the bunkers!

Good weather, course had alot gravel on putting greens, golf carts weren’t the best (compared to other places). Friendly staff and clean amenities.

Arrived yesterday to check in just to be told that I would have to play the front nine twice since the back nine were being aerated. First nine must’ve been aerated a couple of days back, greens were a mess and full of sand. Traps are concrete. Would’ve certainly appreciated to know Limitations and course conditions before heading down to Green Valley

Great layout. Only issue is that bunkers are in deplorable condition. Fix the bunkers & you would have a 5 star course!

Well designed course with a lot of challenging holes but you need to stay out of the bunkers. They are awful - mainly dirt and rocks.

Greens were terrific and the fairways are in good shape.

If the bunkers had some good sand in them, this course could be awesome.

We have played this course a few times and our only complaint were the bunkers were as hard as rock and greens while good had some type of markings on them. Our bartender before our round at 11:30 was rude and just wanted us out of the bar! But after our round we had dinner at the grill and it was delicious and our server and bartender were delightful!

Canoa Ranch is in great shape. Fairways are lush and greens roll true. Sand traps are always an issue but we play them as a free drop.
