About Canoa Ranch Golf Resort
Located south of Tucson in the town of Green Valley is Canoa Ranch Golf Resort, located next to Canoa Ranch Golf Club. This 94-unit resort features guest rooms and 1- and 2-bedroom suites. A buffet breakfast is included with rooms. Other amenities include a fitness center and outdoor pool. The golf course was designed by the team of Schmidt-Curley and opened in 2003. The resort offers unlimited golf packages, as well as access to six area golf courses such as San Ignacio and Haven Golf Club. Canoa Ranch Golf Resort is located a short distance of Green Valley dining and nightlife, as well as outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking.Facts

Always waiting….so slow
2h40 to play 9 holes after starting 20 minutes late
Totaly unacceptable we paid for 18 holes and didn’t have time to finish
Second time on that course and as slow as the first time
1st timer
Challenging yet rewarding. Be sure to stay out of the bunkers. They will ruin your golf club.

Crowd control
Our tee time for nine holes was 2:16. At 2:15 there were five foursomes waiting and one on the tee box. We were sent to the tenth tee where foursomes coming off nine were not happy to see us cutting in. Bad day all around at the start. Didn’t get much better. Course was fine though
Enjoyable Round
Love this course because if the scenery plus some challenging holes. I thought the course was in good shape: nice fairways and greens. The bunkers were hard and could use some
deep scraping but I shouldn't have been in them (lol).

For the most part, course was in good shape. The rough on sides of fairways were very hard and the sand traps should be renamed dirt & rock traps. It was the worst I've seen the traps in past 2 years. The course is a good tough challenge though. I enjoy playing it. Needs some love from the owners.

This course never disappoints! Fair challenges throughout, beautiful scenery, and nothing to complain about.
Don't miss this course
This is a very enjoyable course to play. The holes are interesting, different and challenging. Two of the best par five holes in the valley. The fairways, greens and tee boxes were in great shape. The one negative comment concerns the sand traps. They should be removed or better maintained. They were mostly hard packed dirt with rocks and stones. I would not use my wedges in them. I understand it is difficult to maintain sand traps but these sand traps were awful!
Pace was terribly slow
Tee-time was 1:44. Payed for 18 holes but it took nearly 3 hours to play nine. Walked off after 9 holes. No Ranger to maintain a reasonable pace of play.
Also, sand traps were void of any sand.
Love the course layout,, but disappointed in the experience.
Hills and Vistas
Loved the layout of the course with winding cart paths and creative t box shots to the fairway. Carts were well maintained but noisy and gas powered. Practice areas are well placed and beautiful.
