Canoa Ranch Golf Resort

Wonderful afternoon of golf with my brother and my wife. Beautiful course, played for the first time. Plan to be back.

Course is in great shape with fairly fast greens, staff is very friendly.

Only negative is condition of the sand traps.

Quite a few have next to no sand in them so basically your hitting off of hard dirt. Could definitely use a dump truck or 2 of sand to add to all traps. other than minimal to no sand in traps everything else seemed good. This is a good course and offers a good challenge of your golf skills.

Tees, fairways, greens (a little funky with the “po”) are all in good shape as part of a great layout with fantastic views. Just don’t hit it in bunkers and rough (thin, hard pan, won’t hold, rocky in places.) A little TLC and this place will be top notch.

Great course with a very sporty layout and fantastic finishing hole. Finished in under 4 hours. Tees and fairways were good.

Greens were a drawback. They were slow and bumpy.

These are the worst bunkers I have ever seen....rocks and big boulders in sand traps....most sand traps didn't have any sand base.....rough was hard pan....greens were slow....there was weeds mixed in grass....greens seemed as of they wee not mowed for a few days....they closed the coarse if you had a cart at 5 45 pm...even though there was daylight until 7 pm....it was a very good track with beautiful views....to bad management is really bad ! I will never play again....

They just need to cut or roll the greens.

The greens were over seeded and slow.and bumpy......the rough was like hitting off hard pan ! The sand traps were filled with sand pebbles and large rocks....there was no sand in most of the bunkers.....other than that.....the holes were picturesque with beautiful mountain views....a big negative was sunset was at 6 30 but we had to bring g the carts In by 5;45 ???? We could not finish are round from a 2 :15 start...overall...I will not come back here

Greens need to be cut shorter and need to be rolled.
