Overrated
A good resort course. Nothing special. Wide fairways. The desert between holes is removed for faster play. Good greens.
Lunch is a snack bar. Troon golf? Kids ok at bag drop. No valet.
Golf Now has dissapointed me. Customer for years. Charged for a third person who couldn’t make it. Desk said ok. Golf now is unreachable by phone. Three hour wait!! I’ll book directly from now on.
Don't miss this course
We loved this course. It is beautiful, and challenging. We were paired with two gentlemen who couldn't be nicer and had played the course before so we got some tips for ball placement. The staff is soooo nice. They were running behind due to morning frost, but kept putting out foursomes as quickly as possible. I can't say enough about the beauty and condition of the course. From tee box to greens, simply perfect. We played Ventana Canyon and Arizona National during this visit, and Sewailo was definitely our favorite.
Great course in the desert
Sewailo is the home course for the Univ of Arizona golf teams and we found it a good but not too tough challenge for two ‘duffers’ (handicap 20-26) , well maintained and in a beautiful setting
Challenging, scenic course
Beautiful views of mountains on a well maintained course. Only complaint would be pin placements on a couple of holes (side hill with no possibility of keeping ball close to hole). Lots of water and sand traps but playable.
Nice Course! Friendly a Staff!
Course is in great shape. Greens are very well looked after, took a few holes to realize were slower than other courses I’ve played, but all 18 greens were very consistent!
Would have been nice if we had warmer weather. Teed off at 12;40pm and was only +7C brrr.
Front nine was a nice test to get you ready for the back nine. Played from the teal / green tees at 6300+ yds. Make sure you check the carts GPS, watch for fairway bunkers and hidden places that make your ball disappear, LOL
Will definitely be heading back for another round / revenge.
Oh, the ladies in the club house make a great Breakfast on the Bun. Beer pricing from the “Cart Girl” is cheapest Ive experienced!!!! Godda love golf and beer
always a good value for the money
1 1/4 hour frost delay, but the starter(s) did get me out with a very nice twosome from texas and another guy from the "northeast" around 12:35pm course in very good shape but the sand in the bunkers is not what is the common desert sand tricky to play out of. greens are Hard To Read lots of small tiers and the such making reading them tough wind really picked up after the 10th hole and made shotmaking a challenge but overall a nice day for golf
Good Valued Round
We enjoyed our round of golf at this course. We had an 1 hour and 45 minute frost delay but the starter worked his magic and had us join a twosome 30 minutes beyond our scheduled tee time - great job ! This is a well conditioned course that offers good value on a great track.
One of Tucson’s Best
One of my personal top 3 favorites in the Tucson area. The track has a great layout of holes, and is always in top condition. The course presents a good challenge but not a brutal one (although no. 10 might be fairly characterized as a brutal hole—it’s very tough). Excellent value golf course.
Oasis in the desert
Took a friend who had never played Sewailo and it was great him enjoy the course like I did the first time. It is nice to have course experience because there is a lot of water and deep bunkers to navigate, but who doesn’t like a fair challenge. Staff (from the Pro, assistants, cart personnel to starter) were friendly and very helpful. Finally, the range was absolutely first class!
Windy Day
Wonderful Course. Very windy the day we played, so made for a very challenging round. Great landing areas from tees. Tight entrance to greens and must carry bunkers and some water. Worth the money and distance from town.
Quality Golf Experience
From the moment we arrived to putting our clubs back in the car our experience was excellent. Really good golf course, great condition , good golf course architecture and fair.
Very nice course
Nice course, excellent conditions, great views, good value and friendly staff. Can't wait to play Sewailo again.
always play when in the area
A great course to play, front 9 different from back 9.
Sand Trap Heavy
Absolutely beautiful well maintained course! Real value for the money! Everything was first class. The pace was a bit slow but they consider a 4 hr 26 minute round as normal so plan accordingly! Every hole has MULTIPLE sand traps. Lots of water too! Would love to come back and play better! It's one of those courses that challenges you but seems do able! You will not be dissappointed if you enjoy a good challenge!
