Golfer
Course is a good layout.
Course is relatively short with the amount of run but requires correct placement of shots to score.
Course was in good condition.
Fantastic layout
This is a very nice and challenging resort style course. It is beautifully sculpted through the desert. Lots of scenic water features come into play so study the GPS carefully. I wish there was a little more in the way of water stops, or at least to provide cups or water bottles for the few drinking fountains that are available. I didn’t feel well prepared to be out in the desert in this kind of heat for so long. I might also suggest playing this course on a calm day…nothing to break the wind out here in the flats! It’s the kind of course you really want to play again to re-try some of the interestingly-designed holes. Challenging and fun.
Irritating to not get close to your ball because cart shutting down. Too much desert, not enough good green fairway. Didn`t like hitting good shots only to find they rolled out of bounds or in blind creeks.
Love Sewailo!
I love this golf course. I only wish it was closer to Oreo Valley.
Plugged greens unplayable
I generally like this golf course (4-5 rating), but with the plugged & sanded greens, it was not enjoyable. Give it a couple of weeks to recover, and will again be playable.
This is one of my favorite courses in Tucson.
No information by TeeOff or the course.
Got to the course and was informed the greens had been aerated and sanded and the back 9 was closed. Suppose to play the front 9 twice. That isn't what I paid TeeOff for.
Aeration
Course is great as usual. Only drawback was we played the day after aeration. Still a great experience.
First time
An excellent course layout and even with the greens being aerated it was a very enjoyable round
No ranger
They paired us with a golfer who only just took the game up a week ago. Nice guy but clueless of any edquitte and frequently missed the ball. Fortunately he quit after nine. The we were stuck behind 4 ignorant golfers who refused to let a twosome play thru. Lots of hidden penalties that take away from seemingly good shots.
Super slow round, what a pity!
Love the course but playing in over 5 hours is not acceptable. There is no ranger so one slow group can slow all the others.
Challenging and fun
This course will test your course management as water is in play on most holes. Course is in very good condition. Greens are fast and firm. Many tee box options so players of all abilities can enjoy the round.
