Morning view down the Par-5 5th fairway. A strong drive, especially to the center-right fairway, sets you up to go for the green in two! Photo submitted by vmustang on 04/25/2021

Would play again
64 bunkers. Seems like I was in every one of them. Pro Shop warned me in advance. Greens were in great shape - very quick.
Course has gone downhill since Troon took over.
Greens are shaggy & slow.
Half way house was closed when we got through the first nine holes. Restaurant was closed when we got done at 6.
One of our carts had low front tires, just about didn’t get back to the club house after the first nine.
Over all Troon should be embarrassed for charging the prices they’re charging for these courses.
Great Round
Introduced a friend to the course and he was extremely impressed with the course and services! We will be returning soon!
Good staff tough scoring
Course in good condition but the greens are harder than average and require a high spinning shot if you hope to hold the green. A good test of short game.
Bunkers
The course and staff were great as usual. The only complaint. were the bunkers. A little thin on the sand. Overall is still one of the best public courses in the valley.
Course was good, price was too high.
Had a 10:30 tee time of bit of a windy, but sunny day. Greens were really small with 2 large bunkers on each side of every green. This made it difficult because the bunkers were quite hard and didn’t play well. Greens rolled nicely.
Condition
Course is in terrible condition and way overpriced. It is okay to golf one time but I will not return.
2nd time around
For the price of golf in middle of February I thought the $90 round was a good value!
Great Time
Course in good shape. Fairways and greens hard and fast. Great place to fish golf balls out of the canal.
REVIEW
Not. Worth the money, way to expen. The right price should be about $40.
Not great, not bad, just OK
Overall I can say that I enjoyed the round, but I enjoy almost every round. The course was pretty basic, a lot of up and back type holes that were pretty similar. Nothing special I thought. Course conditions were ok, not good, not bad. I guess the experience was pretty average leaning toward the positive side of the scale.. On the huge plus side the course did not jack up prices for Superbowl week like most other courses, a lot of integrity shown there. In future I would likely try other similar priced courses in the hopes of finding a hidden gem.

Always enjoy playing San Marcos when visiting Chandler, AZ
A Very Nice Course
The staff are super friendly here and make you feel at home. The driving range is small so they use soft balls and have an "irons only" policy, but it still gets you warmed up. For a hacker like me though, it does create some concern on the first tee wondering what the driver is going to do today. An unusual feature is a series of canals that cross various fairways, and if you don't have a good app to tell you where they are, they will swallow up many a ball.
Anyway, a fun course to play and decent value considering the jaw-dropping prices some Phoenix/Scottsdale courses are charging now.
Overpriced
Like most of the courses in the State over priced when will these people lean not everyone is a millionaire they are gouging people and it will soon backfire on them
Tight greens
Small greens flanked by bunkers on almost every hole make the short game challenging. Overall a nice afternoon.
