About Crowne Plaza Phoenix Chandler Golf Resort

Located in Chandler southeast of Phoenix is the historic Crowne Plaza Phoenix-Chandler Golf Resort. This property dates back to 1912 as one of the earliest developments in Chandler and boasts the oldest grass golf course in the state of Arizona. This property on the National Registrar of Historic Places has 249 guest rooms and suites with private balconies, recently upgraded new with amenities. There is an outdoor pool and tennis courts in addition to the 18-hole golf course which was stretched to its current configuration in 1928. Guests are within easy walking distance of downtown Chandler bars and restaurants, though the property does have its own dining at AJ's, Crust Pizza and 1912 lounge.

Beautiful

This was a fun course to play friendly clean and so well kept for being established in 1913. Watch out for the canal that runs thru it’s hidden and it got me nearly every time.

Unusual round

I usually enjoy this course which was in very good shape. Unfortunately the pace was so bad that after 10.5 holes we called it a day. Some of the factors were beyond the control of the course and I appreciate them giving me a rain check
