The El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort, is one of the destination's most historic golf resorts, dating back to 1928. It is also one of the largest for golf with two 18-hole courses and an additional 9-hole Pusch X short course that plays 2,700 yards. The AAA property features five pools, including one with a waterslide, as well as lighted tennis courts. Resort activities feature water aerobics, yoga and nature walks on nearby trails. For families, there is a kids club for ages 4-12. Among the 427 rooms are 1, 2 and 3-bedroom casita suites with separate living and dining rooms, swimming pool and hot tubs. The resort is adjacent to the El Conquistador Golf & Tennis, a semi-private club whose courses were built in the 1980s. Great Course
First time at this course. No map on scorecard so there were a few holes that I would play differently. No GPS on carts either. Course is mostly surrounded with housing. Fairways are plentiful and greens were in very good condition.

Conquistador course
Plan on a 5 hour round with no Ranger in sight. Canada course in better shape but still 5 hour round. Range was packed and had to wait for a stall No grass on range, basically hitting off dirt.

Fast 9 hole course with tough greens
This course is short and plays shorter due to the lack of recent rainfall. Very good layout and great Mountain views. Local knowledge is necessary to score. Greens undulate severely to the point of being unfair. You can easily putt off the green and we did, even though the greens were not that fast.Course was busy but speed of play, 9 holes in under 2 hours was reasonable.
