El Conquistador Golf & Tennis - Conquistador Course

I play here pretty regularly as the green fees are very reasonable, the courses (there are two to choose from) are well-maintained, and the staff is always so welcoming and friendly. Conquistador is one of the better values for golf in the Tucson area, as the quality of golf is substantially above the public courses of the area. Don't get me wrong...I love the publics here in the Sleepy Pueblo, but when one compares the roll of the greens, the quality of the fairways and tee boxes, and how the roughs are maintained between the two, Conquistador comes out on top by a large margin.

The course was in excellent shape. Very hilly would not recommend walking. Tough course one that your second time around you would shoot a better score. All in all a challenging experience, I’d definitely play again.

Fast greens, plush fairways and a great layout. I definitely recommend this place.

The course was in good shape. Still a little bumpy on the greens.

It’s Arizona golf during the summer. Greens were solid after being punched. Fairways were solid. Anything off fairways wasn’t easy and it is a tighter course. Keep the ball in play and stop complaining. For 35 dollars I was pleased.

way too slow, bunkers are mud, greens recently punched are slow and bumpy.
