Francisco Grande Golf Course
This course could be exceptional but they just don’t put the money into it! They are keeping it watered just a little too much in some areas - overall pretty decent.
Course coming along nicely.
It was in good shape but we got stuck behind the same super slow foursome and took three hours to play the front but they stopped for more drinks so we played the back in one hour and fifteen minutes.. You need a ranger to keep the pace going faster.
Just golf
It's just after receiving but the course is in good shape only improvement could be on top or added to the on corse grill, we could use someone going around the corse with drinks and maybe taking orders..otherwise it was great
Great value.
Looking for a great day, this is the place to relax at a great value. The temperature was in the high 70 light wind and the course was picture perfect. The greens were cut perfect and would recommend for the golfer to try Francisco Grande if you have the time, I have the place to have a great time. Restaurant at the course has great food at a great value.
Course conditions
Course is in good condition look forward to playing again. Need to start early for decent pace of play
Poor
Pictures on the website don't portray the reality of the course - very misleading. Greens and fairways were in horrific conditions - does not come close to pictures on the website. Mosquitos destroyed my friend and I on the back nine, starting on the 10th hole - there is a pond between hole #9 and #10. Together, we have 67 bites and these wells are the size of dimes and nickels. These blood sucker mosquitoes were vicious and they attacked/followed us all the way to hole #16. At one time I had at least a dozens of them on my arms and legs - absolute crazy! The golf course NEEDS to warn players to spray mosquitos propellent when playing here - we would have covered ourselves with propellant had we known. We are both from out of town and relied heavily on the website to feed us pertinent info. to make the trip worthwhile. Overall: it was a horrific experience and definitely will NOT recommend this course to anyone.
Good value
very good shape, for just coming off of overseed. Enjoyed our round.
Still crappy
Have not played here for over 2 years... Same old same old condition. Needs better maintenance manager ,& staff. Won't play here again.
Good condition
Only the second week open since over seeding. Greens a little slow and bumpy but not too bad. Early tee time and there were some wet areas from watering but would be fine latter in the day. Overall course is in decent playing condition. I expect it to be much better in a couple of weeks. Food and drinks available at the turn.
This course is in recovery
Course recently overseeded. Rough areas were extremely high and wet in many places. Greens were hairy with a lot of seed still on them. Fairways were okay but not well groomed.
Course needs a little work
The layout of the course is nice. The staff is always friendly. They need consistency on the snack bar. A week ago Wednesday we got snacks and drinks at the turn and this last Wednesday it was closed.
The course is filling in nicely but it needs to be trimmed up better.
Good value a ways from phoenix
Course is just coming out of overseeing. Fairways are long and greens were patchy and long. Still had a blast. Played the back nine twice as a single in 1 hour and 50 minutes while playing through 2 groups.
Staff was very friendly and the course design is interesting very small greens that test your approach shots.
