About Francisco Grande Hotel and Golf Resort
Francisco Grande Hotel and Golf Resort is a historic hotel, golf course and sports academy 45 minutes south of Phoenix-Scottsdale. The hotel and golf course is on the campus of Grande Sports World, a training destination for youth and national teams. The property was founded by Horace Stoneham, the owner of the San Francisco Giants, and opened in 1959. There is an outdoor pool and jacuzzi, while guest rooms are standard rooms and suite accommodations. The golf course was designed by Ralph Plummer and can stretch to over 7,500 yards from the championship tees.Facts

The course was very wet
Greens were the best I have ever seen them. The fairway had a lot of water and lots of puddles on the cart path..
Lots of palm cuttings laying around. The cource needs better manegment

Lots of water on the course. Several overly wet fairways but still very nice to play.. greens were very nice to putt on.
Great price using hot deal
Staff very accommodating upon arrival. Assisted with loading cart & no delays to 1st t-box. (Actually got out bit early)
Fairways in good shape but did have few dry spots. Watering around greens made greenside bit wet at times.
Greens in good shape. Enjoyable round of golf.
Course has a nice layout
Greens were in very good condition and rolled true with the exception of one. #14 green had multiple gopher holes right around the pin placement. Most fairways were generally good except a few had moving ridges right on the approaches. Casual water located in multiple places on the course and the areas around the tee boxes were very shaggy and poorly mowed.
Pretty nice course.
Greens are in good shape. There are some soaked and muddy patches on the fairways but nothing that bothered me, too much. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by the course conditions and the staff are super friendly.
Bang for your buck.
I’ve enjoyed this course for the past 2 winter seasons. Friendly staff and easy to get to.Always fun.
