Great day at Eagle Mountain! Photo submitted by uOQDZ5699OQ on 09/26/2012
Greens
The greens were horrible. I understand a few greens in the summer may be dried out but 15 of the 18? Unacceptable for the price
Poor Course Mgmt
GREAT COURSE LAYOUT. So many burned out areas in fairways they couldn’t mark as “ Ground Under Repair “. Greens so Burned Out we had to invoke “Max 2 Putts” LUMPY & BUMPY
Thank you very much for your feedback. We want you to know that our agronomic team is working tirelessly to get the golf course back to the exceptional conditions Eagle Mountain Golf Club is known for. The issues experienced are short term and we are seeing improvements in the conditions each and every day as we transition from the winter ryegrass to the strong warmer season Bermuda turf. We also
embarked upon a course enhancement program in May that will include a bunker renovation and other turf/agronomic cultural practices that will enhance the agronomic concerns you raised and enhance playability in many other ways. Again what you experienced is not the norm and we are excited about the future as well as the current results we are seeing from the new agronomic practices already being implemented to enhance/elevate conditions. Should you have additional questions/concerns please reach out to info@eaglemtn.com so we can learn more about your experience. Thank you again for your feedback.
Yikes
Played June 2021. Don’t PLAY even if they give you a free round.
Find a new greens keeper ASAP. This is by far the worst greens I’ve ever played. Such a beautiful course ruined by un-puttable greens. The staff has sorts of excuses why their so bad. STOP, no more excuses. It never rains in Phx, turn on the water like the other courses do.

Terrible greens
The last time I played here was 2 years ago and it was in good shape. Now it was terrible and I would not recommend this course to anybody.

Terrible Condition
They have blight and the greens are in terrible condition. Normally, I love this course but they have some work to do to get it back to where it should be.
Do not play !!!
The greens are virtually unplayable. Worse greens I’ve played in years

Condition
Course is in horrible condition. Greens are worst. I’ve ever played on and fairways were almost as bad. Staff was great though.
Greens are need to be replaced
My wife and I enjoy this course a lot and we played it a few times but this weekend when we played course is in need of desperate repair. The greens were so bad it looked as if they painted it green. Areas around the green dried up in crackling and the sand traps were so dried up that you couldn’t even make a mark and then with your shoes.
The views are amazing and the layout is very fun to play we were looking so forward to playing this course and walked off very disappointed.
Diseased greens
$99to play on painted packed mud!! Don’t waste your time!
Blight Issues on Every Green
We were told a by starter that a couple of greens had blight. That was not correct EVERY Green had blight! Holes 17 & 18 had construction equipment actively working on course in line with greens. Worst was full price was charged...I have played this course over the years. This time was the worst condition ever...Would like a refund!
Normally great, but greens were in terrible shape
Ordinarily love this course but greens were bumpy and looked terrible. A drink, food or replay voucher would have been nice to make up for the conditions.
Horrible greens.
Visiting from Iowa. Was looking forward to playing this course. Beautiful layout of the course. Not sure what happen to the greens but almost all greens were dead and painted green. Impossible to putt on.
Great course; greens needed work.
Love this course layout; greens were all dead and really bad; spray painted; putting on a cow path
Terrible Course Conditions
Always look forward to playing Eagle Mountain, but was very surprised by the conditions when we stepped on the practice green. We definitely would not have played the round if we had known how bad the greens and fairways were. I'm not a golf snob, but it was on the verge of unplayable even for recreational play.
