Wow
Amazing desert course, great conditions, amazing layout
Great course
Great layout, course conditions were great. Greens were running at a nice speed. Starter was really nice.
Coyote/Palmer courses
Tee to Green course was Great. Fairways are in great shape. Bunkers looked nice, thank goodness I missed them all today. Greens rolled very nice. Only issue was repair marks on the greens, the Javelina like to burrow on the greens unfortunately. But still a course worth visiting. If 18 isn't enough they have 27. The views are 10/10. I didn't have time for some BBQ today but recommend the pulled pork sandwich.
Back Again
This is a return visit, last time was 25 years ago. Fun to play, the Palmer course is a bit difficult to start at. Overall it was a good trip.
TUESDAY GOLF
BEAUTIFUL GOLF COURSE , SOME GREENS WERE CUT OUT , HARD TO PUTT.
THE STARTER GUY WAS VERY RUDE, FIRST TIME THERE, AND ALREADY ALMOST REGRETED PLAYING THERE, WE WERE IN TOWN FOR 2 DAYS AND HAD MANY OPTIONS.. HE HAS NO PLACE TALKING TO PAYING CUSTOMERS LIKE LITTLE CHILDREN.
OTHER THAN THAT --- WE PLAYED LIGHTS OUT !!! THANK YOU
Great Spot
I have had friends that have played here. We wanted a quick AZ vacation. Very playable golf course. Interesting layout. Will be here for a couple of days.
A golf course ? A zoo ?
So many animals, deer families with small kids, sooo cute.
Even a coyote was watching us.....
The course is in very good condition.
We play every year around this time and we will be back for sure.
Annie & AJ
Disappointed
Standing water in bunkers (how does this happen when it doesn’t rain?), water stations but no cups, many greens were rough around the edges (and yes, they did affect play), 4 1/2 round with the cart telling us we were 15-20 minutes behind schedule (yet we were constantly keeping up with the group ahead of us and never saw a ranger!). And in 18 holes we saw the beverage cart once.
For the price of admission, I think you could improve some things.
I’d rate this experience overall a 2.5.
There are better options for this price and lower.
Starr Pass
Great course. weather was great, upkeep is great. greens were pretty sanding for this round, but have had them perfect prior. pace was great.
clubhouse bar closed at 4p which wasn't great for an afternoon tee time.
Great time at Starr Pass
Love the layout. The greens need some time but should be phenomenal in a while. Will definitely be back.
Nice course
Greens are still pretty new but fair. Course is in great shape, cart path only that day. Starters need some work on welcoming their quests. Not helpful, didn't inquire just assumed. Directions were vague about where to play the 2nd nine. Felt like we were a necessary inconvenience to them.
Fresh winter rye grass
I love Starr Pass a gem of Southwest Tucson. Wonderful course layout, takes advantage of natural landscape, and had freshly reseeded winter rye.
Thank you so much for your kind words and positive review! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the golf course and found the conditions to be to your liking. We take great pride in maintaining the course and providing a top-notch experience for our players. Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another round of golf in the future. Thanks again for your support!
101 degrees but still worth it.
Played Rattler and one other 9. Last year Rattler was not over seeded and the ball rolled forever. This time is was plush and very little carry. Key to enjoy is picking the correct tees and not being greedy. Great course.
Thank you for sharing your experience and providing valuable feedback on your recent round at The Club at Starr Pass. We're delighted to hear that you noticed the positive changes in the course conditions.
We appreciate your positive comments and are thrilled that you consider our course a great one. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we look forward to providing you with many more enjoyable rounds in the future. Thank you for choosing our course, and we hope to welcome you back soon.

Some awkwardness
The staff support at the start left something to be desired. I was paired up with another single, but go no instructions or direction as to which of the three nines we were supposed to tee off on. As it is we went to the one we thought we were supposed to be playing and turned out wrong and we had to backtrack and join up with another twosome on the third hole of a different nine.
On course amenities were so-so, water wasn't iced, bathrooms hard to find. On the whole, not up to expectations for a "resort course" experience.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you encountered some challenges during your recent visit to The Club at Starr Pass. Your comments are important to us, and we take them seriously as we strive to continuously improve our guests' experiences. We assure you that we are actively addressing these concerns with our team to ensure a higher standard of customer service.
We hope you'll consider giving us another opportunity to serve you in the future. We are committed to providing a more enjoyable experience, and we would welcome the chance to make your next visit a truly exceptional one.
Thank you for your feedback and for choosing The Club at Starr Pass.
Starr Pass needs some work
Played SP first time since management change. Hopefully this is not South of things to come Tee to green the course was in great shape, but the greens were in terrible shape. not what SP has been up to in the past. Staff and amenities are as good as always.
Thank you for providing your feedback. We genuinely appreciate your comments regarding the course conditions, staff, and amenities.
We're pleased to hear that the staff and amenities met your expectations, and we want to assure you that we are working diligently to bring the greens up to the same standard. After the completed overseeding process we experienced unforeseen circumstances that affected the greens. Our team have since addressed these issues aggressively by laying sod and performing other repairs.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back soon for a more satisfying round.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
