Fun course. New greens very firm and a little bare. Very unresponsive to approach shots, mostly slower with putts. Offer to play all three nines for price of 18 hole reservation did not materialize because one nine had a group event.

The course was in okay condition, but the greens seemed to have differing speeds. Tee boxes a bit chewed up, and fairways were only in decent shape

Definitely my top pick in the Tucson area

This was the most expensive golf I’ve ever played…and I’d play it again. We played the Pioneer/Palmer courses and both were sometimes quite challenging. We were told to add 10 strokes to our average scores and that was about right. If you’re not straight, you WILL struggle. There are some blind tee shots and get ready to account for wind that you can’t feel because of the surrounding mountains if you hit high, arcing shots.

Fantastic range and putting surfaces also. Staff was very friendly.

Beautiful views, Beautiful greens, amazing staff and a lot of fun! This was my first time playing here and it was well worth it!

Incredible course. Played the pioneer and gambler. My wife who is a high handicap really enjoyed the Pioneer, but still managed to have fun on the gambler. Beautiful views and great condition. Will play again.

Love Starr Pass. Great golf experience. Challenging target golf with firm greens. Loved the challenge. Friendly and accommodating staff. Highly recommend.

Lots of trouble desert target golf risk reward. Wildlife galore Pigs bobcat deer
