About Legacy Golf Resort

Legacy Golf Resort, operated by Shell Holidays, is located just south of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This resort features the 18-hole Legacy Golf Club, designed by Gary Panks and home to a full practice facility and golf instruction and academy. The resort features 328 suites set in a Spanish mission-style theme and units feature either kitchens or kitchenettes, washer-dryers, patios or balconies and large living areas. There is an outdoor pool with cabanas and an outdoor bar, tennis courts, sand volleyball, shuffleboard, BBQ area and children's playground. Dining is available at the golf club.

Front Nine Closed

Doubled the back nine.

Golf Now and Legacy need to sync up on this type of thing. It was nice seeing a summer rate, but it was not nice showing up find out have the course was closed for maintenance.

Pretty good course, would consider coming back

Great condition for the summer. I liked the layout and the greens were pretty tough. However, I had a 11:08 tee time and didn’t tee off until 11:40. That was kind of frustrating being 30 mins behind. However, there pace did pick back up after hole 5 and still finished the round in an average time. Lastly, half of the front 9 was under renovation and torn up, so a little more discount would have been nice but still happy with the course overall. For the price during the summer I think it’s worth playing a few times. If it wasn’t for the outlandish start time I think it could have been a 5 star course.

Front nine cloaed

Disappointed to learn upon arrival that the front nine of the course was closed for repairs.

Would have\nLiked to play the entire course, that's why I went there.

Is golf now prepared to offer any compensation for half the golf course being closed?

Front Nine Closed

I have played here multiple times. I showed up paid my green fee and did not find out that the front nine was closed until I saw a sign on the way to the driving range. Very disappointed. I would not have booked a tee time knowing i would play the back nine twice.

Without telling us before hand we show up to find the front 9 is closed and we have to play the back 9 twice

Challenging but great

The course is beautiful and in great condition. Staff is always friendly and the restaurant is great.

One word of advice…..stay out of the bunkers!

Legacy is solid all the way around. Great layout, service and course conditions are excellent. The practice facility is one of the best in phoenix and the course is always in great shape all year long.

OK course - conditions were meh

First time at this course. Overall OK. Pace of play was good. The main downside was it appears they just sprayed the blue/green stuff on the course. Which got all over my hands, cart, etc and turned my clothes blue.
