Poor condition, prime pricing!
I thought the course was in poor condition. The tee boxes were destroyed and none of them were flat. Maybe that is part of the challenge but it was goofy. The greens were just ok, some were pretty beat up.
A couse you could play quick and get good practice. Great for couple play.
I enjoyed the day. The course was in good condition and the play was fast. Was paired with nice people.
Fun Executive
Well maintained course at the base of Camelback Mountain in PV. Lots of par 3's, with some fun, challenging holes in the mix.
Great value.
The setting is very beautiful. The course layout is simple and forgiving so it is good for new players. The staff is very friendly and the green fees are very reasonable. The condition of the course is ok. Unfortunately, the day we played they were running 30 minutes late on tee times and the pace of play was 5+ hours on an EXECUTIVE COURSE. Hopefully, that is not typical.
Great to play in beautiful views
This course is a Par 3 course. That being said the holes are interesting and very well kept. If you want to get a quick 18 holes in (1.5 hours) and still have a challenge with value for money ($15) then this course is for you.
Great short course
Great short course with spectacular views amd friendly staff
EXECUTIVE GOLF COURSE
WHEN I RESERVE I DONT SEE THAT AN EXECUTIVE GOLF COURSE
BUT I PALY WITH PLEASURE THIS GOLF COURSE
THE PAR 3 ARE VERY CHALLENGING
Good Game
The course was in great shape. The pace of play was perfect. The employees were excellent.
It's a Par 3 Course!
I didn't realize that the course was a Par 3 course with 2 holes that are Par 4's. The course was in ok shape, but the tee boxes have mounds so it's not ideal or how a tee box should be. The other complaint is the tee boxes are located super close to the previous holes green. Make sure you have your "Fore" yell ready.
nice place
Love playing this course. The staff is always nice. My playing partners are too.
Fun & Challenging
For some reason I couldn't get the marker to drag where I wanted. On balance we enjoyed the course. Good condition, attractive course. We were rusty coming from Minnesota with no golf since October, but we loved Mountain Shadows!
Challenging resort executive course
A picturesque exectuive course very close to Camelback mountain. NIce views! A fairly tight layout with undulating grees and lots of bunkers. A great place to work on your short game. Only one par 4 on each 9 but the 17 hole is a 240 yard par 3 from the long tees. A few holes play to island greens over water.
Great greens, great variation of holes, great setting
Everything was great, except pace of play was very slow, no marshalls.
Lots of fun, fast round, very good shape 4 stars
We had a great day on the Mt Shadows golf course, the green are firm and fast, the layout and distance of the holes keep us in the game. I would have given them five stars but the teeing ground from the back tees needs a little help, can you say mounded, bumpy, eneven you get the picture. One other item that would be nice is reflectors on the pins, lazer had a tough time picking up the pin distances.
Great course to work on your irons and challenging enough for any player
Sorry, couldn't t get the bars above to move. The staff was very friendly and the course was in great condition. We had a very nice time and plan on coming back and bringing friends with us. We thought it was good value for the money paid.
Great way to work on short game.
Despite a threat of rain, we finished 18 holes without a drop of rain falling on us! Sailed around the course in 2 and 1/2 hours! Like having the course all to ourselves. Course is well maintained. Despite several days of rain, sand traps were raked and soft, tho damp. This course was a great way to work on short game and begin the season before playing longer courses.
Scenic views
My wife & I enjoyed very much this excellent short course.
Well maintained , nice greens, very scenic . Wish we had brought our camera .
Will come back again , good value for the dollar.
Mountain Shadows Shines
From the driving range to the 18th Green you are surrounded in the beauty of the mountains including the camel. You can and should use every club in your bag.
fun course in good condition
challenging greens, tough pin placements.you must be accurate
to hit and stick on the greens.pace of play was good.overall
a nice executive course.
Fun Fun Fun
This course was really fun, Great practice for the short game and really is a gorgeous course. The backdrop of the mountains is true Arizona style!!
