Fun and challenging
Just coming out of overseed, greens were furry and slow(typical for this time of year).
Course is a lot of fun and a great way to tune your short game. Fun and challenging !
Highly recommend
Will be back.
With most of the courses that I normally play going through over-seeding, I thought I'd brush up on my short game. I'm glad I picked Mountain Shadows. The condition was pristine, the views were 'picture-book', the lay-out was challenging for a par 3 course and the greens were daunting at times. Although it is a bit of a trek for me, I will definitely be back.
Great Pitch/Putt
Strictly par 3s but still a fun course. Very well maintained. We played in the heat but no dead spots seen. Staff very friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to play in cooler weather!
Great golf
The staff is friendly the amenities are great and golfing there I agree times
Memories at Mountain Shadows
Haven't played since the remodel but it's a very enjoyable track.
Greens extremely challenging with lots of contouring and some nice backstops. Multiple pin positions and the putts rolled very consistently.
Played as a twosome and we finished in 2 hours.
A couple of bottle waters per player were provided in the coolers, nice touch.
We were both glad we played at this facility.
You will be too!
Cart guy not wearing mask!
When we finished our round at 11:25 we came upon this male employee in mid twenties with his mask down around his neck. He was conversing with a mom and Approx, 12 yr old son( both w/o masks) who had just finished their game. Is it Mountain Shadows policy to allow the employees that are going to be cleaning our clubs to do so w/o masks? I should have taken photos, but was just too disgusted!
Great course!
Me and Azamat played through this course no problem. Great success.
Fantastic Views
The course was a little bit wet from the monsoon the night before so definitely nothing they could do about that. Greens were super challenging for a short course. Totally worth the money for the views!
Short Course
I guess my review would be more for golf now as a website. When booking I saw no indication that this was a short course, but while arriving the sign says “the short course at mountain shadows” Probably should in someway make that very noticeable because I instantly was kind of bummed because it wasn’t what I expected. The course was beautiful, you definitely are paying for a Mountain View, pace of play was good, although there seemed to be an audience on every hole of either construction home builders eating sandwiches or maintenance dudes sitting on their equipment. Bar was closed, but they had coolers already stocked on carts with ice water, beer cart was awesome and very prompt. Beer was expensive but came quick, so no complaints. Tee boxes need some love.
Great morning at Mt Shadow golf course
Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Had a delicious lunch afterward.
Thank you for joining us and for your feedback. We take the health and safety of our guests very seriously. Note the link to our Pristine Clean Program at Mountain Shadows and the Short Course.

Masks are not required outside, but are required within 6 feet. With the recent record heat and away from guests, we allow our staff members to move the masks aside to get fresh air while in the outdoor heat. In this case, our staff member didn't replace the mask while helping a guest. We apologize and will use this as a coaching moment to reinforce the importance of following the health guidelines and make our golfers feel safe.
