Orange Tree Resort

The greens are by far the worst I’ve ever played! Diseased or something, not sure. Almost unplayable.

First time playing Orange tree. Ok layout, nice fairways, bunkers and amenities…… no sugar coating the fact that the greens are terrible!! Several dead, dirt patches on most greens making them unplayable for the most part. Won’t be back until they get the greens back.

We bought a hot deal from golf now so our fees were great. The pro shop and course is behind the facade of stores and resort stays so it doesn’t feel like you have just pulled up to a golf course BUT the staff from the pro shop to starters rangers cart girl and food at the turn are outstanding!

Greens were in bad shape but playable. Wife and I both enjoyed the round and would play again

Loved the old school layout. I understand because of the extreme heat & lack of rain the greens took a beating which was quite apparent.

We enjoy this course but the greens were horrible. Dead spots everywhere and we were not told ahead of time.

Greens are the worst that I’ve ever seen in Phoenix area.

Greens had huge damaged spots. Fairways dried out. Need to play preferred lies within 10 feet Not worth the money.

Price was right although there were 3 greens that were in really rough shape. Carts and pace of play were excellent.

the course has a great lay out but he condition of the course right now is very poor. The greens are very bad and they should not be charging people full rates to play the course that's how bad greens are.

I would not suggest playing this course.

I will never return to play it. Very disappointing.

The course was in terrible condition. Greens had patches of dirt and poorly maintained and the fairways were patchy. It’s too bad because I’ve watched this course get progressively worse. I will not play again.

Friends recommended this course to us. Most of the greens were in terrible shape. The bunkers were not well groomed. We were 4 and played at 3:00pm. You could really tell it was a resort course (broken tees everywhere and no true tee boxes... the tee box markers were reversed on one of the holes). We won't choose this course again.

Total ripoff. You can’t putt, every city course is in much better shape. Every green is sand, how can they charge $130+?

The greens are a mess. Several have multiple large bare areas. Location is good, staff is friendly and helpful. Fairways are, well, fair. But the greens are atrocious.

This was my first time playing Orange Tree - I found it online and it looked like a good course based on pictures and the course layout. Unfortunately, the conditions were far from the image that was presented. More than half of the greens were blighted to an extent that ruined any chance of a good experience. Paying anything more than 50% of the greens fees being charged would be too much. I was embarrassed that I was the one who suggested the course and made the teetime for my group.
