Orange Tree Golf & Conference Resort
The course at the Orange Tree Golf Resort provides an excellent game of golf in a luxurious setting. The Parkland-style layout features fairways lined with mature trees, which not only enhance the natural beauty of the golf course but can also greatly affect shots. Four lakes are situated on the flat terrain of the course, providing water hazards that come into play on five holes. Sand bunkers also surround every green. Orange Tree Golf Resort's course finishes with its signature hole, where water cuts into the fairway and proceeds to run down the left side all the way to the green. It also requires accuracy on the approach shot in order to hit the small putting surface that is surrounded by tricky elements.

Ranger was very grouchy. We were paired up with two ladies who didn’t even have the same tee off time as we had. We tried to persuade them otherwise. Ranger came
Around twice and told us we have to pick our pace up. The two women insisted on playing off the Senior tees instead of the women’s tees Finally he told them to play off women’s tees and things went quicker. Took us 5 hours to play. Women were very nice but it was just a bad experience.
Above Average Experience
Comparable to Starfire. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Marshall tried to get the slow group in front of us to move faster. They were new golfers (or really not golfers) who took 5-6 practice swings every shot. Halfway house bathroom could use a make-over!!
Greens are bear and very bumpy. Fairways are average at best.unfilled divots everywhere. Play very slow. Only would play again as last resort.
Decent course for the money
Orange Tree is a nice course, very playable but only average amenities to other resort courses nearby. But if you get a good discounted round it is worth the time to play OT.
We always enjoy Orange Tree.We had a threesome, each in individual carts. Good pace and friendly staff. The course was a bit dried out but in general was in excellent coiji
Nice layout, like the traditional set up. Course in good shape except bunkers with very little sand in them. Biggest issue was really slow play, and not a marshall in sight all day, not even a starter.
Forgiving fairways but tough greens. Tee'd off on time around noon and played in under four hours.
A nice winter go to.
As a year round resident who can play the nicest courses for cheap in the summer, it is hard to pay the extra $200 for winter rates. Orange tree is a nice course with a good price that is enjoyable for winter play.
Good value for the money
For Scottsdale this is a nice course for the price. Not on par with the nicer resort courses but well kept. Always crowded but they work hard to keep you moving. They paint the greens which I do not like. This course has a Midwestern golf feel to it with tress lining the fairways and a straightforward layout.
