Bunkers - was only in one green side - was in good condition

Pace of play a little slow - 4:30

Was not cart path only

Layout - was a little worried playing first three holes , pretty flat and run of the mill

Then the elevation changes started and the course was very interesting and challenging

Course plays shorter as several holes play downhill and takes the driver out of your hand ( 6500 from back tees)

Would play again

Course needs a redesign, the routing is terrible, seems you could fit another nine in the land if you did it correctly. Every freaking fairway pinches in at 275, hit multiple great drives that ended up in less than ideal areas. One a trap that i did not notice from the tee in the middle of the fairway, that just for a kick in the nuts is shaped like a heart and deep enough i had to hit sw out of. Speaking of the traps the really need some sand, seemed all were rock hard under a half inch. Greens ran well and speed was consistent albeit slow for my taste. Pace of play on the front was great but ground to a halt on the back 5:15 hour round.

I understand and normal conditions the extra charge that the course charged me for my wife to ride because she didn't play but during her ride with me and the course charged me $25 for her to ride with me I think that is sad and I did not appreciate it at all. Everything else about the course was fantastic but I don't think it's right to charge $25 for someone just to ride in a cart.

Beautiful course and will maintained. The staff were kind and professional . Definitely coming back.

Course was in good shape considering they just opened a couple of weeks ago after overseeding. Greens were still a bit slow but certainly not bumpy. A few target golf holes which demand accuracy. A thinking course as a few fairways get tight at my length off the white tees. Staff were extremely friendly. Only drawback was 19th hole has been reportedly closed for a while due to covid.

Loved the course, a couple holes had to pick your landing, would definitely recommend

I played Lookout Mountain again today - the 3rd time since it reopened after overseeding - and continue to be very pleased with the course. It's cart path only for a few more weeks, but the walking is not too bad. Due to the elevation changes on many holes and sloping fairways, you cardio conditioning might be challenged. It will likely be another 2 weeks or so before the course is in ideal condition, but you will not be disappointed right now. The fairways are lush and still being cut down, so your ball won't roll much. The greens are in great shape, but running slow, so you need to adjust your putting speed. Finally, as always, the customer service is excellent.

My only complaint was not having a discount for having to be cart path only because of overseeding. We did a lot of walking in a very hot day.

Golfed here back in July and was pleasantly surprised of the conditions of the course considering it being in the middle of summer.

This time I went out I was even more encouraged of the conditions after over seeding. The greens were a little slow (6-7); however, they rolled true. Fairways were in good condition, but I would say it plays pretty long as you don’t get as much roll compared to the summer. Overall this course is a gem for PHX.

Course was b! Was in great shape! Staff was wonderful! Beautiful scenery! Would recommend this course to everyone! Had a great day ! Wish golf now would have listed this course as cart path only - was a little difficult to walk !

Course was in perfect condition and pace of play was great. Staff was very friendly and happy. Best this course has looked.
