Sedona Golf Resort

As a twosome, we were stuck behind a family of non-golfers. In fairness, they eventually let us play through and picked up at least 2 holes, but after 2 or 3 15 minute waits the delay became onerous. The greens were surprisingly slow and the tee boxes wet. On the other hand, the red rocks were gorgeous as always. Staff were very helpful. The layout of the course is interesting. Not a truly walkable course, but it is a fun way to spend a half day.

My son wanted to play golf for his Birthday, but I did nt want to play in the scorching heat in the Valley, so headed up to Sedona.

it was an amazing time!! Can't wait to return.

Only 2hrs from Chandler, and a 4hr round.. We left Chandler @5:30, arrived at 740, started at 7:51, and we're back in Chandler by 2:40.. AWESOME Time!!

The elevation changes provide amazing views. The course is challenging and fun to play. Keep it in the fairway because the rough is tough.

We loved playing the course. I appreciated most the true fast fair greens and the landscaping that shielded most homes on the few holes with them. The surrounding terrain is fantastic. We liked every hole--none were gimmicky or tricky for first timers to navigate. Still we missed GPS on the carts and resorted to our own devices.

This is a resort course so we slogged through in 4:25. A corporate group was playing a scramble ahead of us. Nothing about the layout would slow play, it's just the meatheads. The day after playing we took a walk around the resort area and when passing #1 tee saw a foursome of bros taking warmup swings from the tips. As expected, their drives went everywhere but the fairway, and not far, except for one guy whose ball clicked OB down the adjoining access road and across to a private resident's yard. And in true meathead fashion he played from the folks' yard across the street proceeding to hit it fat leaving a foot long gouge with the ball barely making it back across the street and just past the very clearly marked OB stakes. Geeesh.

Enjoyed the experience. I rented clubs which were good. The course has a nice layout and well worth playing if you are in Sedona.

We played the red tees 5,000 yards.

Several couples were leaving the course because of slow play. I thought about it myself. I noticed the starter wasn't putting groups together. He was letting singles go in between 4 homes. I had to ask him to join with a group. No wonder why the course was a mess. Definitely not worth the money.

Played each hole, got to the next tee box to find the group ahead hadn’t even teed off yet. Such a slow round. Wanted to abandon it after 10 holes but stuck it out, the whole 4:45. Yuck

Great views, especially on the back 9. Cool layout, good conditions. Might have just been the day I played but most tee boxes were stacked 1-2 groups deep because of 2 extremely slow groups that slowed down the whole course and were probably over an hour behind the group in front of them. They then joined up as an 8some apparently toward the end of the round and slowed down even more. Marshal didn’t do anything. I gave up after 16 holes. Course is nice otherwise.

Played golf in the early afternoon to accommodate a GN discount coupon. By playing in the afternoon some players did not have a concern to move along. Seems as though a ranger could have moved them along. In fairness to the course I am too use to playing early and not having anyone in front of me and being able to play at my own pace which is relatively fast. This course is awesome and if I ever find myself in the Sedona area I will look forward to playing here again.

The course itself plays ok. There are some really good holes mixed in throughout the course. By hole 10 you are 2.5 miles away from the club house so byb if you know what I mean. The greens were in shambles from people not repairing divot marks. The fairways were in great condition and overall the course was nice. Unmatched scenery of the red rocks. There are several other courses nearby I’d rather play. Unfortunately this is a one and done for us.
