Always in great shape and a friendly, helpful staff
"Not as GOOD as I once was"
I have played Tubac Golf Resort for over 30 years. As the course has evolved from 18 holes
From 18 to 27 holes the conditions are inconsistant relatitive to the price increases. Both the practice range and the putting greens were unavailable. The conditions of the course and hole locations from 9/30/24 to 10/1/24 were identical, but the price increased $40.00 . The golfing experience has not kept up with the increase of pricing .
First time
First time there. Staff is wonderful. Course has a good layout but was not in good shape. Over watered and no practice facilities not at all available the day I went. Greens were very good.
alway's love this course
Always love this course, They're over-seeding for the winter and trying to keep 2 of the 3 nines opened durning the process. Course management is doing a great job.
.
Nice course
Course is nice with beautiful scenery and has some fun holes if you love the challenge of water hazards. Kind of dumb you can’t take the golf cart to load your bags in your car, considering the the staring point and parking lots are a bit of a walk and the course being in a rural community. Other than that still great.
First Class
This is always a great time playing Tubac the course is in excellent condition despite being a very hot summer in Arizona. Make sure you stop by the bar for a cold beer and try the freshly made chips and dip!
Nice course, great staff
All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Course was nice with some great views. Fairways pretty tight. Sand traps(which I found plenty) were not in great shape, but understandable due to the rain they’ve been getting. Can’t wait to get back out there next week!
Great golf!
I love this place! It's challenging. The course is always in good shape. Staff is always friendy. Great accommodations! It's beautiful down here!

Great time
Always enjoy playing this course. Fairways were in great condition, the difficulty varies from hole to hole so it doesn’t get repetitive. Will be back soon.
Great Course Needs Some Tweaks
I’ve played here often and have a few observations. Customer service is not a big focus at this course. The employees there are sorely lacking in simple customer service skills. The guy in the pro shop for example… I arrived around 20 minutes before my scheduled time. He was checking in a player who was apparently an employee. While I waited, he and the employee were bantering and shooting the breeze while I waited almost 15 minutes. I ultimately had no time to warm up at all because of that. Someone also needs to teach the guy how to use their computer. There’s a long delay every time I go there.
Then there are the guys at the starter station. If I book my round last minute, they never have my information and are always very confused by it. Another time, I arrived early and the guy started ranting about me and my playing partner being late (we were not late). I offered to show him my confirmation email but he wasn’t interested. He only cared about ranting at me.
The course is one of my favorites. It is beautiful and has lots of animals and gorgeous scenery. But there’s an obvious culture of sup-standard customer service. Sometimes it is outrageously bad. At best it is merely acceptable.
