Tubac Golf Resort - Anza/Rancho

Don't know if I've ever been treated so poorly by the management of a golf course. Here's what happened:

I booked a tee time thru Golf Now and had a confirmed date, time, # of players, cost and # of holes to be played. I had the confirmation in-hand.

Upon arrival, the starter stated that there where only 9-holes open as the other 18 were under repair and we'd be playng Otero twice, No problem we said.

However, when we went to pay for our greens fees, the course manager, Kristie Fowler, stated that there must have been a mistake and the price we were quoted was for 9-holes and NOT 18-holes. I showed her my Golf Now confirmation documents clearing showing we'd booked 18-holes but Ms. Folwer feigned indifference and again said there must have been a mistake. Golf Now only posts the times and rates offered by the course. They don't make mistakes. So, who did?

Bottom line - Ms. Fowler refused to honor our tee time reservation. Rather than do the right thing, she ignored any courtesy or common sense and sent two local golfers off to let the commuinity know just what type of manager Ms. Fowler is.

Both the owner(s) and members of the Tubac Country Club should be embarrassed.

Best southern az golf course. Too bad Rancho was closed

It's refreshing to play on very good greens. It's clear they have been working on the greens. The course is in great condition.

All golf courses in southern arizona need some rain!!

Course was very dry, and greens were full of divots. It seems nobody fixes them, players or staff.

The staff were all friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Play moved well, course was in good shape.

Will look forward to our next visit.

The course was very good and locating the next tee boxes was very simple

Core conditions have improved from several weeks ago. Greens are rolling well. Some issue with fringe around greenside trap on Anza 7. Seems they are keeping everything watered even during these very very hot days.
