Tubac Golf Resort - Anza/Rancho

About
The Tubac Golf Resort sits along the banks of the Santa Cruz River, providing a lush landscape of mature trees and cottonwood groves. The Anza/Rancho golf course is one of three different 18-hole combinations at the resort, which features 27 holes in total. The Anza's par-3 ninth hole has an island green reminiscent of the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass. The Rancho nine's fourth hole is known for being in the Kevin Costner golf movie "Tin Cup." It is also home to what has been nicknamed the "Tubac Triangle," a challenging set of holes that includes the longest par 3, par 4, and par 5 at the resort. The eighth hole is part of this set; at 651 yards it is even longer than some of the par 5s on the PGA Tour.

Anza/Rancho
Incredible layout in a setting that is one of the best in southern Arizona. It had just rained and cooled things down significantly. I’ll be back for sure!
Summer Rain
It rained hard right after I hit my first tee shot on 1 (Anza). I sat under some trees and waited about 20 minutes. The temperature dropped nearly 30 degrees. After the rain passed it was the most beautiful Sonoran desert round I’ve played in 30 years. Deer and turkey were out on the course. The smell in the air after rain in the desert was absolutely amazing! The only part that sucked was me going 5 over on the last 4 holes to shoot an 83. I will go back to Tubac Country Club as often as I can. Go check it out!!
Still a wonderful course
The course was in decent shape but the green on anaza are being sprayed with weed killers so the are bare on spots and just in bad shape

Golf at Tubac resort is always fantastic. Their attention to detail is absolutely amazing.

My husband and I have played this course several times and it’s always been in great shape. The scenery is beautiful.

Great course
Played Anza/Otero. Course in great shape. Traps playable, greens roll true and staff is very helpful and friendly.
Great Layout but lacks some course amenities
I love the layout and the three different nine hole options. But there are no ball washers on the cart or on the course. Other courses for less money offer cart ball washers, ice chests and GPS. Don't understand why Tubac cannot offer the same.
Peaceful and relaxing.
Played Rancho and Anza 9 combo. One is completely different than the other. Of course , you have to play Rancho because of the historical factor with the movie Tin Cup being filmed there. Remember the scene where tin cup broke all clubs in his bag, except for the seven iron , and then par'ed in from there? Don't forget the two hundred and forty or fifty yard shot over water onto the green. You'll see that too!
This is a very peaceful and welcoming place to play. You will not hear highway traffic, just birds, horses and an occasional yaaaa! as someone makes an incredible shot.
Visit the shops and have lunch after your round, you'll enjoy the day here.
