Executive Course First Rate
I played the 9 hole executive course not the 18 hole course. In my opinion this is a more difficult course than the big course. This course is seldom ever very busy or double booked. Great hidden gem
Good layout but needs some work
The course layout was great but the condition of the greens was subpar. Lots of bald spots and rough sections making putting very difficult. Fun course but needs some TLC on the greens.
Decent course
This is a inset review. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The tee boxes were in great shape. Fairways were good. The only issue where the greens. The were rough and patchy with a lot of bare ground. The pace of play was great finished in approximately 3 hours. They had bsll washers atve ery tee box which is nice i lost two balls in their water hazards butthat was my poor playing..In short all but the greens were was a wonderful moring playing golf
Decent course
Course was a pleasant surprise, lots of trees, didn't feel like being in the desert at all. With that said there were some spots needing more grass, some of the greens were bumpy. Some sand in the bunkers would also be helpful for bunker shots, it was hardpan dirt.
It’s Golf
Very ordinary course in lousy condition. Easy and forgiving, however, so expect a good score.
Pleasantly surprised
Great course for the money very affordable fairways in really good condition. Fast greens very narrow, but a fun layout. I will be back.
Viewpoint
Greens are in horrendous condition. They both look and play awful. Tee boxes are in rough shape as well. Fairways were fine. Pace of play was atrocious, we were backed up the whole day and not a Marshall in sight to help encourage others to speed up. Still a fun course with a welcoming layout for golfers of all skill levels. Staff is friendly.
Just Ok!
Layout of course was great! Fairways where Great, but Greens had dirt spots! i just expect better quality for the price paid!
Decent for the price
I had an overall decent experience at Viewpoint Golf Course. The layout is enjoyable and the course has good potential for a relaxing round. However, my main concern was the lack of pace of play—there were a few disruptions and bottle necks that made it difficult to fully enjoy the round.
Additionally, the greens were noticeably torn up, which impacted putting and took away from the overall quality of the course. With some attention to course conditions and maintaining a calmer playing environment, this could be a much better experience.
Trash
Don’t waste your time or money playing here unless you’re over the age of 65. They don’t offer rain checks. Terrible pace of play with no Marshall
Enjoyable non desert type course
Non desert type course. Mounding and pine trees eases driver mistakes.
Greens are getting better.
Not a long course.
Should offer a re-play
Staff and fellow golfers friendly and helpful, greens are okay, fairways good, lots of dirt and weeds off the fairways so don't hit it there. Fun place to play, they should have a price to go around twice,(they probably do for residents).
Average course...
The staff were curt and less than friendly to outsiders like myself and my out of town guest.
Fun track
Good shape, some challenging holes, good course for beginners
How about a little help !!
Pulled up, and the gentleman looked me right in the eyes as he smoked his cigar. Not a hello, can I help you nothing. Excuse me, sir, where’s the driving range? He pointed to the left and still didn’t move out of his golf cart, enjoying his cigar, and then I asked, " Where is the first tee again he pointed and said over there. After my round, another gentleman was there, looked me in my eyes, and didn’t say a word. I acknowledged him. There was no offer to clean clubs. There was no offer to help with my bags—nothing, needless to say. Customer service was not great!
Maybe it’s just me
Rough Greens
Verifying what most others have already said; the greens have had a tough winter. Looks like they all have been affected by a fungus. Work is being done to revive them, but it will be awhile before they rebound. Course design does help keep your errant tee ball’s in play via hilly areas along both sides of the the fairways between each hole.
Not a bad course. Seemed short staffed.
Played on the 9 hole course. Houses lining all the fairways. Rather tight on most holes. Well kept greens. Pace of play was okay, considering walkers in front of us. Saw the cart girl once at the clubhouse. Had to call the clubhouse and ask if she was coming to the 9 hole course. She was on the 18 hole course. Didnt get another drink until our last hole.
