Championship at Viewpoint Golf Resort

Course is in overall good condition. Many of the greens are in pretty good ought shape which is unusual for this time of year. A few of them were almost un-puttable.

Afternoon shotgun and pace of play for this short course was very good. Fairways and tees are good. Greens are terrible, barely puttable. This is first year I’ve seen them so bad. Don’t waste your money until they get this fixed. I won’t be back until I hear this issue is under control.

The tee boxes are in terrible shape. The fairways are in good shape. The greens are in TERRIBLE shape, most greens should be considered unplayable. They charge $100 bucks for that hahaha. The greenskeepers should be ashamed of their effort to do their jobs. Like what are we doing .

Had one of my best rounds of the year, partly because the course is relatively easy. In good shape and fun.

We played here 3 weeks ago and greens were great now they’re bare spots and dead grass all over them. Also they over booked Friday we quit after 14 holes because it took 4 1/2 hours to play that. No Rangers to keep groups moving.

1at time playing this course. Had a hot deal on it, and every other course was booked before Christmas. This course is a shorter course, really good for senior and Beginner players. Overall it's not a bad course. One bad negative was the greens were really bad. Half the greens barely had any grass on them, so it's like putting on sand.

I'm not one to complain about greens, but these were BAD. Course layout isn't bad, but I will never return just based on how bad the greens were.

I love this course. I’ve been playing it since the trees were planted.. The greens were very bad today.. and it was unusual.

It started off bad when the guy inside the pro shop was visibly upset that we were able to get a discounted tee time on a veterans app.Don’t know why he should care but he wasn’t happy. Now to the course. Very slow muddy and not taken care of properly. The greens were some of the worst in the valley no grass muddy and extremely fast. Some were so bad they should have been closed and use temp greens. Eighteenth green unputtable take a two putt and walk away. Overall terrible experience

First time playing this course and our entire group loved it! Challenging but yet not too difficult!

We had a mid day tee time on 11/29/25. The course was busy but we got off close to on time. The pace of play was terrible but they did have a ranger checking continuously. By the 17th hole there were 4 foursomes waiting to play. But what really was bad was their greens. Very little grass, bumpy dirt in most cases, definitely not worth the price. Do not recommend

Very nice layout. Fairways were in great shape. 6 or 7 greens were in terrible shape. Shouldn’t have been playable in that condition. Would try it again when greens recover.

Always enjoy Viewpoint but would not recommend at this time because their greens are sub par.

Teeboxes and fairways were great and even though it was cart path only that wasn't too bad.

The greens are the reason for 3 stars.

It was like they just came out of being punched. Lots of sand and pretty slow.

Hopefully they will get better soon.

I very much enjoy playing Viewpoint in the winter months. It’s always in great shape, reasonably priced, and is a nice change of pace from other Arizona courses with the pine trees. That being said, the course should not be open right now and charging green fees due to the condition of the greens which are currently 90% sand and 10% grass. I played on Tuesday October 28th and won’t be back for at least another 3 weeks to a month to let the grass grow on the greens. Fairways and tee boxes are great, the greens, not so much.
