green conditions Photo submitted by u000003377470 on 10/21/2019
Good condition fairways and greens.
The only knock on the course is the teeboxes are very unlevel.
Nice day on the course
The course was in pretty good shape. Tee boxes and rough were a bit beat up and burnt out, but the fairways and greens were good. The main issue was the pace of play. There were two twosomes and a threesome ahead of us. With so many short par 4s and par 3s, there were sometimes four groups on a hole. There were no course marshals that I could see. The water jugs were also out the remainder of the holes after the turn. I enjoyed the round, but if it was summer heat, this would have been tough.
Painted Mountain
Conditions were good for time of year, greens were quite nice. Pace of play was a huge problem, but as to be expected for Saturday
Nice layout but course could use some TLC and a lot of water from tee to green
Unique course. Lot of par 3s on the back nine, short course, you can leave the driver in the bag. Needs lots of water between tee and green, several bare spots. Green are nice and very fast.
Excellent Springtime golf.
The course is in excellent condition. Grass in the fairways and on the greens are both really good . Winter visitors have left. I played in less than 2.5 hours.
Ridiculously slow
Prepare to wait at every hole. Over 3 hours for the front 9, 2.5 hours on the back 9.
Painted Mountain
Wasn’t bad, beautiful day, pace of play outstanding. Beautiful views of nature and the mountains. But I did lose a sleeve of Titleist golf balls Pro V one, the course ate them up!
OK course for the value
I like this course because it is close to where our condo is. It is usually easy to get on. It is a bit expensive for what you get but overall it is a good course.
Great day for pasture pool!
Mother Nature provided us with great weather and Painted Mountain provided the rest to make this round a very fun and pleasing experience. The condition of the course and the greens were great. Green grass and fairly speedy greens are all that most of us want. We finished our round in a little over 4 hours, which ain’t bad for a Sunday.
