Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort

I had never played here before. I arrived and checked in 15 minutes prior to my t-time in the early morning and was out at the first t-box ready to play. For whatever reason, by 9:30am, they were already 20 minutes, and 2.5 groups behind by the time we tee’d off. As a result we always had a foursome on our tail. After the turnaround, we had separated from them. On the back 9, the course ‘Marshall’ showed up in our view, at the green, telling us to go faster, people are “waiting for golf carts”, etc,… basically to catch up for their mismanagement from start of day. Our party, who golf methodically on the 15-min/hole, did not appreciate getting hassled when we’re paying $150+ for a round of golf in Mesa! I will not be returning to this course as a result.

Bad condition, super slow with no marshals in sight.

Holes 1 and 18 were challenging doglegs over water. All course was designed well. Look forward to playing again soon.

Enjoyed my round. They paired us with two others and we really enjoyed ourselves. Course is in good shape!

Only thing that needs help is the Tee Boxes.

Pace of play for first 15 holes was brutal. After 15 holes a lot of people were leaving the course before they played entire game In front of us the slow players must have completed their game and things speed up. Course is lovely and in good shape.

We arrived with 4 people, only 3 golfers, 1 ride along. Was told by a staff member a ride along was fine. When we went to get a cart, he said no, no riders. We were never told that so we left. As we were leaving we heard the staff member talking to another customer about how rude WE were. Very unprofessional, and it was because he wanted his friend to go out at our time. Will never go back, wont recommend

Tee boxes were hard to push a tee into but the greens made up for it; great condition

We had 2 rounds booked at Painted Mountain for our annual Girls Golf Trip. While we were disappointed the first time, it was a bit better the second time around. Knowing the course helped and the staff was much friendlier and helpful. Pace of play was still on the slow side. Still keeping PM off our list of courses to play.

This was our first time playing this course. We tee’d off right on time and pace of play was perfect. Greens were true and fairways were in good shape. We stayed for a drink on the patio - a nice way to end the day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will play it again next year during our annual trip.

We started late because no carts, then back up on every hole and 5 1/2 hour round 🥵

Had a 0700 tee time, starter let us out early,. Very fast play, finished in about 3 1/2 hours. Course conditions were excellent, fairways and greens in great shape, lush. Greens are the course defense, length from white tees is not huge. Nice layout, a very fun play.
