Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort

It was our first and probably last visit to this course. We arrived and were checked in quickly. We teed off early as a number of people canceled their times. Our bags were not loaded on the cart, the cart was dirty and seats were soaked from the rain the night before. The course was in terrible condition. The tee boxes in mostly void of grass and were full of divots. The fairways were somewhat ok but the grass had obviously not been mowed for awhile and watch out for the goose droppings. The sand pits were unkept and contained a lot of rock. The greens had many dead spots making putting difficult. We were quite disappointed with the conditions of the course. We definitely expected more for the money being charged.

The course was a little rough as to dirt and or no grass.. some of the green. holes were not. well placed ... On a hill, really!

Playing @1.30pm has never been a finish 18 before dark there are always slow groups but yesterday we manage in a nick of time , yay !

back nine came to a screeching halt on #12 when 2 foursomes decided to join to speed things up. It slowed things down. We had to jump ahead of them in order to finish before dark.

Decent layout. Below average course condition at this price point.

The course conditions were below average for January. Uneven tee boxes (how hard is it to make even tee boxes?), numerous bald spots, and fallen tree limbs not picked. Just a little bit of attention and giva-care would go a long way towards improving this course.

Otherwise, I really enjoyed playing this course. The greens were in great shape. Staff very friendly and competent.

The course has a Marshall that does nothing to control the pace of play. We had three groups on every hole on the entire back 9. Very slow play due to fivesomes…

I just like this course… it reminds of an old country club something we lack in the valley…. The only thing I would offer a negative opinion on is that the tee boxes need some love

blocks were hacked up, and uneven, lots of ground under repair, green airation made them slow, and very bumpy

Very overpriced for what it is. No driving range and the course was choppy. Inconsistent greens and tee boxes. Layout isn’t very good. Very narrow and some tee boxes are behind the previous green so if someone over shoots, you can get hit
