Indian Hills CC
The staff is "great". Always a great time at the Bay.
In town for the weekend and booked this course based off of reviews. We were greeted by Rebecca and were very pleased as she informed us if the course layout and history of the area.
Another enjoyable round at Indian Hills
Course is in great shape. Fairways are near lush; greens are in their prime (maybe a touch long -- slow and tricky for bent grass?). We had a heck of a bargain fee so it was well worth the price. It is worth the regular rack rate just to play the course and enjoy the scenery. Nice folks in the club house and on the course, too.
Indian Hills
This is a great course. The greens and fairways were in great shape. A hidden gem in the forest. Staff was great. Had a great time. If you are staying in the resort I highly recommend it. The only minus is no driving range.
Great Course - Great Staff!
Loved the course and was so impressed by the super friendly/helpful staff. Thank You!
Excellent course and staff
I have played this course several times and will keep coming back for more. The fact that it is over an hour drive for me is an indication of how well I like the course and staff. Go play!!
Good Price but poor greens and boxes
The staff welcomed us and made sure we had all we needed. The tee boxes were in less than average c shape and the, greens were horrible. They looked like it was August, spotty growth weeds, bare spots. Gorgeous layout.
Great Day at Indian Hills
We played three times during our week stay at Fairfield Bay. Indian Hills Golf Course was a great place to play. No one pushing from behind. Friendly staff and nice carts.
Narrow, tough course tucked away in the Ozark mountains of Arkansas
Grass had not yet started to grow so winter conditions were in effect but an enjoyable round on a narrow, tough course. Hard rain two nights before made it wet but the course drains pretty well except for a couple of the sand traps. A couple of the greens had weeds growing which told us that course maintenance staff had some work to do.
Great course with outstanding lady in pro shop
My middle son and I played this course for the first time. Received a very warm greeting from Rebecca. Explained everything to us and answered all our questions. Not busy so we got to go at our own pace but still finished in under 4 hours. I just bought a condo up here at FFB and my son drive in from Benton. He said was well worth the drive. Thx Indian Hills Golf Course for a great day.
Nice winter round
Indian Hills is not long, though it can be very challenging from the tips. Most holes tree lined
so accuracy off the tee is needed. Probably only
a handful of holes require more than a short iron
approach with a moderately long tee shot. The winter bermuda greens, though not attractive in brown, rolled really well.
Thank you for your review.
Usually the course is in tip top shape. Hopefuly you can come back to see us when everything is green and beautiful.
Nice people, nice course.
We used a GolfNow coupon to play this mid-winter day. Reception in the pro shop was excellent (Thanks Rebecca).
The course was well drained considering the rain recently. Carts were allowed on the fairways.
The course is a beautiful scenic layout with plenty of challenge for any player. Even in the dead of winter, grounds were well maintained, greens were in great shape, and great effort had been taken to remove leaves, etc from the course. Kudos to the staff!
We would recommend visiting Indian Hills GC. I can't wait to try it when the grass is green!
Thank you for your nice review.
It was my pleasure to make your visit to the course a memorable one. Hopefullly you can come back to see us soon. Maybe even come play in some a tournament or two. They will be starting up soon.
This course has a nice layout
My husband and I are average golfers. We like that the course is set in the Ozarks and they've made the most of the location. The fairways and greens were in great condition. On most holes, you have to hit the ball straight.
We visited in October and could not have had better golf weather -- mid 70's with lots of sunshine.
The clubhouse staff were friendly and helpful.
Nice course for the resort.
I'd play it again soon.
Tree on right of fairway on hole 3 catches a lot of balls. Best to stay away from it because of other trees on the dogleg.
Course I great condition
Just a beautiful course. Played 18 holes in just over three hours. Carts were in like new condition, fairways and greens were very well maintained. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday.
Terry,
Thank you so much for the nice review.
We hope you can come visit again soon.
